It has so many spots where you can random people, on top of the map being so unbalanced to begin with. Red tower/shotgun is a death sentence and it's so easy to spawntrap people down there.

Why does Halo 5 cull animation frames from characters who go further than 10 feet away from you or if there's more than 4 characters/enemies on screen? I tried playing that shitheap yesterday and after two levels I was too nauseated to continue.

I just played 5 with the classic controls and didn't use sprint or the jetpack thing. It actually plays pretty well, the gameplay is great compared to Halo 4, but what really suffered was the shitty story and characters. A shame.

I hadn't played 5 for almost a year until yesterday afternoon and I couldn't even remember how to do the advanced movement stuff aside from autoclamber. The story makes no fucking sense either and Locke and his band of merry faggots are positively insufferable. Something as monumental as visiting Sanghelios just feels like a wet fart in 5.

I really, REALLY hated the dynamic resolution thing with the OG Xbone too. I was distracted by how bad it looked at times, I was barely even paying attention to what was going on. Luckily, the Xbone X and PC versions fix that, at least.

It's not hated because it's objectively overpowered, it just brings gameplay to a halt for no fucking reason, since you end up dying right after exiting armor lock anyways.

Get Halo Custom Edition as well as the 1.0.10 patch and install it using the CD key given in the Steam link, download the Halo Refined SP maps and UI then place all the files in the maps folder, then download chimera and HAC and put the .dll files in the controls folder.
With Chimera you can turn off mouse accel and have interpolated animations and with HAC you can download custom maps ingame. For chimera use these commands:
chimera_widescreen_scope_fix 1
chimera_fov_fix 1
chimera_vfov 60
chimera_block_mouse_acceleration 1

to be fair i did play the bungie halos significantly more AND they patched halo 4 so that you automatically receive all multiplayer achievements as it's dead as shit. halo 5 i probably only have 30-50 matches played, i just got all the easy as fuck campaign achievements.
not sure if that halo 3 stat is counting custom games or not, but i'm pretty sure i had at least 3k customs played.

Halo 5 has a better map builder, thus better custom games. Fatkid, duckhunt were good, but halo 5 also has jenga aside from those.
