I always hated that about Mass Effect's morality system. For those options that require a high amount of Renegade or Paragon, it pretty much sets your path for you. Going down the middle completely locks you out of these choices.

Now that I think about it, I actually got healthier now that I'm vegan.
Allergies affect me less, headaches got rarer, I don't get ill more than once a year and it never lasts longer than a week, my teeth stopped hurting and my dentist noticed my dental health history improved, skin got a bit clearer, nails break less.
It's subtle, but it's there.
Thanks for making me think about it, I usually just focus on the moral aspect and I almost completely missed that part where I'm actually improving my health.

Soul Nomad and the World Eaters had a full Demon Path which was just the edgy genocide run that edgelords desperately want, but it was COMPLETELY separate from the main path, which is the standard Hero path. This meant that the devs got to indulge in the main character being absolutely terrible for the entire game rather than pretending they are supposed to be respected/called upon by the populace somehow, and the last few stages are fucking beautiful as a result. The only time dialogue choices should matter is when it is differing variations of your already-decided alignment's choices with purely mechanical differences.
