PP is a very unique player. No one can replace his Falco and to a lower extent Marth. Also if PP ever came back you already know Armada couldn't resist getting back in the mix, that alone would be HUGE for melee. It could basically turbocharge the game, probably not as big as 2013 but still huge.

The hype for his return is so real.
I really hope he gets better, he is an overall very very likeable person. He obviously has a nice streaming career ahead of him if he wants to do that.

EG|PPMD: I do not like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on a competitive level. I find it shallow and that it rewards very basic strategies that do not allow for deeper interaction with an opponent, and I also feel that even combos are jammed or not so meaningful. I personally greatly enjoy deep, intense interaction and the ability to play at a variety of speeds and still be effective. I do not believe Smash 4 has that potential, unfortunately. It can be fine for those willing to learn very specific skillsets, but I think there is much greater reward in learning the depth of Melee.

The way PP plays neutral is literally an artform in and of itself. His elegant spacing, usage of dashdances, dashbacks, wavedashes, and pivots just look so fluid and methodical. Glad to have him back.
