Just got Kuro’s Charm back after being stuck on Owl for like a week (I had beaten every boss and mini boss up to that point). Now I beat him and the game is 1000% more fun. FUCK the path of further hardships. Extra XP is not worth it when you can barely make progress and have no fun at all. In fact you end up making less XP because of your slower rate of accomplishments and kills due to how much difficulty/no fun you’re having.

These guys are harder than rape ape, fuck them.

you are not equipped to fight more than one enemy at once in this game. that's the real problem you face in this fight. you need to run until you can lure the brown one a decent distance away from the other. it's easy to kill and then you're home free.

Am i the only one that found 2nd phase harder? I was able to get the first phase down by my third try but I had a hard time figuring him out when he was headless.

I fought them on ng+ and it was rough but I didn't die to either of them.

I think that's if you don't beat the first boss fight before going down there, I'm fairly certain he will be there if you do beat him by the water first.

don't even need the umbrella when he broadcasts the attack way before the scream even starts. it's a super exaggerated motion when he pulls the head down before the scream.

Fog wall goes away and monkey stays on the ground until you come with the mortal blade and put it out of its misery. Only thing you get blocked from is the shichimen fight that happens on that pit (needs monkey to be 100% gone for it to trigger).

The way that headless ape slithers and dances around makes him creepy and unpredictable if you aren't already familiar with his moveset.
