Uniel is overrated, its a generic anime game with people in school uniforms flying around hitting each other 500 times a second. It's nothing special, and the controls are way too loose and sloppy. MK 11 controls are tight, like an asian woman's cunt.

Problems with the right design:

IMO every MK game since Deception has had the absolute worst 3D character models and CG renders ever. MK 4 gets a pass because they still had everybody that played the digital sprites from MK2 & 3 on board and used them as a template, but MK games have almost always had over-the-top character proportions and designs since they went full 3D.

Ironically, the new game doesn't quite look right either, because while the guys all look like cartoonish 1980's Pro Wrestlers the girls have the "Uncanny Valley" going on HARD. Not to mention fridge-like body types, no T or A etc. etc.

"Realism" comes in many different shapes and sizes. Don't let these people sell you the idea that what they choose is more "realistic". They just decided they were going to go with what they felt is most common. Their decided they wanted average proportions.

There is a difference between the exceptional, and the unrealistic. The exceptional are things that exist in reality, or can conceivably exist, given ideal circumstances. And I think that's what most people want from their characters.

All the men in Mortal Kombat are exceptional physical specimens. They're not unrealistic. But they're so far away from average, that they're appealing to look at. The same should be the case for women. But sadly, it isn't.

My problem is twofold:

1.) The designs just aren't very good. They're either overdesigned to where nothing stands out (Frost) or overly simplistic and mundane (Kitana/Skarlet.) Jade is easily the best designed outfit in the game, at least in her default.

2.) The changes really remove any distinct look for the Edenians in the game. They've always had the very exposed, free flowing aesthetic which I think suits them coming from a paradise. It was why I actually really liked Rain's design in MKX, since it better reflected the culture shown via the female Edenians before. Similarly, Sheeva wore a barbarian style sling or loin cloth, similar to Goro, because covering up and using armor wasn't the Shokan style. In the way we have Kotal in bracers, boots and a loin cloth, we should have Sheeva looking the same to reflect the culture she's been represented as in the past.

It's not so much that they're not sexy -- though they're not, especially compared to some Injustice looks -- it's that there's no identity in their clothing. Cassie, Sonya and Jacqui are just "military with future tech" and the Ninjas are just "Body suit with their selected accent color."

robocops super detailed design is well done. one, its all plated and black, not mixed lines and confusing stuff. theres also fine lines and huge differentiated shapes. a killer design, i like a lot what they tried to do with frost, but its sloppy and needed revision before printing.

You know what OP i actually think the left looks a lot better of a character than left, for a few reasons. First off i personally feel that more "plain" looking characters have more eye-pleasing effect on people. Like comparing the left to the right, the left is pretty tame on the eyes. It has a easy color-scheme to follow and i also think the different colors blend well with her, but theres always familiar colors on her. Its a good color-scheme is what am trying to say the tan body works well with the green leotard and the white area around it makes it more familiar because her hair is also white. Am kinda sounding like a retard but, when you have less stuff going on, on a character it feels i guess more "comfortable".
But right for example theres a lot of same colors just sorta different hues. It's also personally not very eye pleasing, because there are so much more colors than i feel should be there. Like theres gold, white, blue, lighter blue, navy blue and then her toothpaste colored hair and her pale milky face. I feel i just doesn't work all that well combine her "glowing" eyes and i feel, that theres just to much going on. Not to mention that patterns also on her attire, going "spirally" lines going up down left right, also. It's all just kinda odd i feel.
That concludes my little essay.

Sexuality is equal parts mental, as it is physical. Even if the visual stimulation isn't perfect, ifyou can give the viewer an idea of sexy, then they would be more willing to overlook some of the wonkier aspects. This is basically why sexuality is so often considered "cheap". Because you can sell people on lower quality, if you only give them sexiness.

Idealing, you would have high technical proficiency, sure. So wen OP gives us the idea of sexiness, you should be able to use your brain to extrapolate what such a figure would look like with the technical talent of NRS.

I'm considering a refund not because of the character designs but holy fuck does the game feel really slow and clunky compared to Tekken 7. Walking forward is so fucking slow that I might as well input a punishable move to move forward rather than walk or dash. And the constant switch from silky smooth 60 fps to 30 fps is so fucking annoying, it slows the pace down of everything.

Is this your first time playing MK or something? It's never been anywhere near the level of other major fighters in terms of actual quality as a fighting game. That's why NRS games have huge drop-offs in their scenes after the first year. Most people just play it for the single player and some novelty stuff.

Nah he's right MK11 has been brought more in line with Injustice 2 resulting in a slower game than even X.

Yeah, it is and probably my last, I really enjoyed watching those face paced combo videos but the investment it would take to reach that point and try to get over how slow the games feels doesn't seem worth it to me.
