Just bought this and Zelda BOTW. What are the other great games I should buy?

Sell me on hyrule warriors. I already have BOTW, so I'm worried it's not gonna do anything for me as a Zelda-themed game. I tried to play One Piece Pirate Warriros 3, but ended up losing interest after the first 2 or 3 missions. I like the idea of a party Zelda game where you got tons of Zelda characters to choose from and it's interesting to see a Zelda game during a period of war with troops running around and flashy fight sequences. But I'm concerned that the game will get repetitive fast and the controls and camera are gonna be as janky and simple as Pirate warriors.

It's shit and so was the other launch title but nobody wants to talk about 1-2 switch.

Zelda is a children's game and Dark Souls is a game for children who can't play fighting games.

There's no such thing as a serious video game. All of them, every single one, are for children. If you are an adult, you should not be playing video games for any reason other than nostalgia. And if you are playing for nostalgia, there's absolutely nothing wrong with playing what you call a "children's game".

Besides BOTW the other A++ exclusive game on Switch is Mario+Rabbids.

Odyssey is really underwhelming compared to the sublime perfection of Galaxy.

Honestly the only reason to buy a Switch RIGHT NOW is Smash. And even then, if you don't have the chance to do a lot of local MP it's kind of a waste.
You can emulate BOTW perfectly on Cemu. Mario is making a lot of progress in Yuzu. And the 1st party catalog isn't worth if you take those out of the equation.
Indies are also cheaper on PC, and if they're difficult 2D sidescrollers/fighters then you're fucked with the non d-pad on the joycons.

Monster Boy and Wonder Boy, both fantastic games that basically work as sequels to each other.

It's honestly not that hard. Depending on the method you choose it can be done nearly instantly.

Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2 and Smash are the only good games for the Switch, don't let anyone tell you otherwise

Don't let these sticks in the mud stifle your fun. BOTW is a great time, and I recommend Mario Odyssey and Smash Ult. as well! Arms and Mario Kart are a blast with friends. I'm currently playing Enter the Gungeon and Katana Zero, which are superb indie games, as well as Cuphead and Stardew Valley.
