Yeah it is. I played the demo, exact same shit.

It tells a pretty solid story that doesn't feel like some cheap, cliched rehash. I don't want to say it's super deep, but it's not a kiddy pool either. It raises some interesting questions, at the very least.

As for the gameplay, some people were less than impressed by the combat, but the game was constantly switching things up to keep you from getting bored. I loved the bullet hell and side-scrolling sections, personally.
