>Shield - Demon/Dark Souls
>Dodge - Bloodborne
>Parry - Sekiro

What mechanic they're gonna focus on next?

what does dark soul 3 and 2 have?

>Parry - Bloodborne
>Block - Suckiro
fixed

I think he meant the Dark Souls series in general is focused on shields

running

Poise

3 is roll, 2 is actually pretty well balanced between shields, roll and just good positioning.

>ranged attacks

Jump

3 is rolling
2 is spamming life gems

I hope they'll focus on magic next.

Except dodge roll was still the best thing in dark souls? Like most of the boss strats was figuring out which way to strafe and then in which direction to dodge roll

I suck at parrying, only was good in BB. Should I not play Sekiro?

I would like to see a mix of all three.
Like you can join a school/convent and each one gives you skill trees to do specific things. And then each one fights to see who the best school is.

Parrying in Sekiro is way more intuitive than the Souls games.

Sekiro parrying is supper fucking easy. just hold your sword like a shield and when they attack do a parry. If you miss the parry you will go back into shield stance and guard the hit, if you get the parry you win. Rinse repeat.

At least life gems they aren't instantaneous like estus in DS3. Bosses don't get a chance to punish you, and even if they somehow manage to hit you can still tank it thanks to insta-heal.

I fucking hope not.

Shield=Parry - DS1/Demon
Roll - DS3
Niggers - DS2
Quickstep and ranged parry - BB
Deflect and mikiri - Sekiro
thank me later you fucking brainlets

3 roll
2 shit in their heads

That Berserk thing where he gets hit by a sword intentionally to follow up his attack

God, Imagine if the next No More Heroes follows in the foot steps of the soulsbornekiro games

You mean poise right?

Is it a viable AND fun experience to play Dark Souls 1 to 3 without a shield?

Guts mode works fine in all 3

What the hell? My image didn't upload for some raisin.

the first few levels, youll get bored eventually to get oneshotted by attacks that could have easily been absorbed by a shield

just don't play the second one and yes.

Only shitters use shields

Fast rolls + straight sword is the most fun way to play
