Because its executed well and execution is what makes things work in video games. You can do archetypes and formulaic actions but as long as you nail the attributes of the scene, it can be great. Good music, good visuals, right amount of time on shots and delivery of lines as well as the entire journey up to it.

I can, but its better if its in English with good voice acting which is the case for P5. Numerous characters in this game are better voice acted in English than they are in Japanese, but subfags never want to admit this because of NPC tier logic

I know you can do formulaic things in a memorable manner, but in P5 and XB1’s cases, they were just stale and boring. Especially considering that these games achieved much better moments earlier in their stories, bit still chose to overextend and end in these incredibly bland final bosses.

Well yeah. When I hear Ryuji cry out "Nooooooo!" or scream at the old man for turning the water too hot in the bath house, the dub has the original beat by a mile. There are certain things that are just done better and it has to do with English VA differences.

The NPC mentality is that everything is better subbed because its what's "intended" to experience or because its the "original" when the actual opinion with critical thinking behind it is that, a good VA done in a language you understand can be a better experience than the sub.

Brainlet post, keep your worst Xeno antagonist while the sensible people that enjoy how these games complement each other can have a more well rounded character.

3’s final stretch is definetly the best one out of the new Persona games. 4’s was the worst, but I felt 5’s was more dissapointing for me.

The issue isn't going out and trying to enjoy subs of things in other languages its that I can actually appreciate new things and know when the dub is better than the sub
