I don't think you understand how fucked living in North Korea is. They don't know how to use cell phones or even the type of equipment you'd use for "cheap labour" like construction or roadwork. I'll bet most of them can't even drive, at least not at the level required in an actual first-world nation. That doesn't even touch on the cultural differences.

It's all well and good to applaud people escaping from North Korea, but no one wants to be the one employing them, or renting to them, or even interacting with them, particularly in a culture as devoted to conformity as South Korea.
