It is Ultimate's fate to go the way of Melee. Someday people will discover some sorts of exploits and then Ultimate will be a game dominated by Puff. Smash is a series about jumping then hitting. It therefore makes sense that the worst character would be little mac, a character focused on not jumping then hitting. And the best character would be Puff, a character focused on jumping then hitting a lot. Ultimate Puff has the tools unlike brawl puff, sm4sh puff, or 64 puff, it just needs somebody who can revolutionize it

The only character with a supposedly positive matchup against Puff is Fox. Hbox trained for years to make that not true anymore, so now no one can beat him.
People were naive for years thinking about 20XX and shit, melee actually supports camping more than any other smash by virtue of ledge grabbing being so broken. Hbox can (and has) literally ledge stall for an entire matchup after getting a 1% lead and approaching him will put you in an objectively disadvantaged position.

I dont care about melee but after watching the vid, Hbox was crushed from that inside, you could see it on his face. What a terrible thing to do to someone, if they have a problem with h box they should talk to his face, not throw junk at him.

Puff has such great potential to be a villain character. Imagine in Leffen played Puff and reveled in how much it pissed people off. I've played characters like Puff before just because people getting so mad at it is hilarious. Why cant HBox just embrace the Villain? He has the skill and results to back it up.

Except that's wrong. Ultimate Grand Finals was Snake vs Olimar. Several matches in top 8 got down to under 2 minutes because of all the camping.

You can't compare Hbox winning literally everything he shows up to to Ultimate, who has had a dozen different tournament winners over the last few months.
Olimar is broken, but Ultimate is still getting patched. Everyone semi-recently realized this though so he wasn't hit in 3.0. He's dominating in Japan too so expect him to get gutted.
