I've had it since 2087 or 2008. Had to replace my old PC since it didn't have an ethernet port so we couldn't get internet. At the time the guy at Best Buy said 1Gb of RAM was a lot. He said we could upgrade to 2GB of RAM for $100 but when we opened up the PC there were only 2 RAM slots and both were taken with with 512MB sticks so it would actually only be 1 1/2 GB. We decided not to take it since $100 for only half of what we should've gotten sounded dumb. It's not THAT bad of a PC.

my prebuilt has three hdmi ports. One of them will show my tv or monitor when hooked up. But the ones listed 'hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 wont show a signal. Also they both had little pieces of plastic stuck in them. Do I only have one hdmi port and im plugging into nothing on the other ones?

I know ultra settings are pretty pointless compared to high and usually need considerably more performance, and that future proofing isn't really necessary if you know what you're doing (and with next gen around the corner it might not really be all that possible anyway)
But it is true that a 1060 will struggle a little bit at high settings in some of the more demanding games, and a 1070 for 1080p60 in 2019 isn't too dumb of an idea if you're playing poorly optimized AAA games, or want to play the ones that will be coming in the next couple of years in good conditions. Absolute nonsense. A game being poorly optimized has nothing to do with graphics cards. Even a 1080 will run a poorly optimized game terribly. A 1060 will be running 1080p well for years to come. 1070 is good for 144Hz or 1040p@60Hz.

Recently switched to an RTX 2070 because the GTX 1060 couldn't keep up with my monitor and it matches my motherboard better aestheticly. At this point now I'm gonna slowly phase into full SSD and I'll be good for a few years which hopefully the dust will settle on all the crazy core wars that have been happening recently for CPUs.

Ryzen CPU's report their temps 20C over what they really are. If you want an accurate Ryzen reading you need to download ryzen master or look in the BIOS to see the real temp

that being said, his CPU is in the mid/high 80's, which is really fucking close to critical temperature. You need to get a better air cooler and take ur PC out of your closet, or else you're gonna throttle like crazy

Its not speccy, that is just RAM works.
All programs will report half of the rated speed because that is the speed RAM works at, the double is reported because that is the effective speed, its called Dual/double data rate for a reason.
