Other players have a problem with the playerbase here but I find players to be pretty friendly, the assholes who are assholes usually do so through shout chat and it's easy to ignore them. depends on where your going, standard transfer rules only let you take 1 mill so you'd have to buy a bunch of expensive shit to re-sell over there but I think the free transfer rules for the server splits just allow you to take everything.

Leveling will be fine now. The light grind will take around 8-12 hours of pure grinding or a few days of AFK NM farming and it is by far the longest stretch of the relic quest. Pyros is a fucking joke in comparison to Pagos and the only enjoyable part of Eureka imo, and Hydatos is still not nearly as bad even though it has it's own issues.

Crit is the only substat that gets even better the more you stack it as far as I know. This is probably wrong, but it's definitely the only substat that does so at a significant rate.

If you didn't have enough accuracy, your attacks would miss. You needed to meld accuracy to a certain point for each fight. It was kind of dumb, especially because healers had very little accuracy and held to meld a fuckton of it to DPS.

You stacked accuracy to hit the magical number for the content you were doing so that you wouldn't miss 10% of your attacks, and any amount of accuracy after that point was dead weight.
We have two crit ratings now because it's better than it was before.

Before, you needed a certain amount of accuracy if you didn't want to miss your attacks, and yes outright miss, tank stance also had a 5% bonus accuracy.
In SB they threw out that whole system away and turned accuracy materia into DH

crit used to work like how direct hit works now, in that it increases the chance to happen per point but not the magnitude of the damage increase. it turns out that not having it scale in magnitude makes crit kind of a shitty stat. so if you removed one of the stats you could have on gear (accuracy), you'd pretty much just stack det on every single class that isn't brd or blm and that makes the game's already kinda shitty gearing that much stupider
so you now have an extra dps stat that's good to have a little of but not worth stacking, and a crit that doesn't completely suck if you memestack it

The plots are like 5m for a small one, 20m for medium, and 50m for large.
In actuality the number is going to be a hell of a lot higher though since all plots will be taken within seconds of them adding new ones, so you have to pay whoever you want to buy one off of shitloads of money ontop to make it worth their while.

This game in general is designed to always be accessible for new players, but you will get carried through a lot of content and not experience it at its intended difficulty unless you bring seven friends.

Servers will never go up will they?

All of the main content (dungeons and mandatory trials) are all still very active from level 1 to endgame because the game heavily encourages people to queue up for old content in the "duty roulette" every day. If you play tank or healer your queue will always be instant and if you play DPS it will be like 15 minutes or less.

The bad news is that the endgame progression and optional challenge stuff for the previous expansions are dead as fuck. Things like old raid dungeons there's absolutely no reason to do them and nobody queues for raid roulette. If you can wrangle up a group that wants to do them or are willing to wait hours in a queue you can still do any content, though.

>Middle DPS, Middle RDPS

Reminds me of my experience on Ultros. Was there for 2 months and people would always kick others for no reason. Sometimes mentors would say "they offended me earlier today" or "they said something stupid days ago" (this happened on february btw)
