It'll be DQ related for sure. Enix has it's own history with Nintendo that hasn't seen representation yet in the crossovers of Smash.
Chrono or Magus would be cool though since CT is the first game Squaresoft and Enix collaborated on.

Sora is not my top pick of these 4, but his moveset would be easy to plan out/transfer over, and hes the only one of these that's still actually relevant. I'm definitely and old school gamer, but relevancy is a big factor for smash, otherwise I'd say fuck it wheres my andy/sami from AW or my black mage from FF.

If the rep is chosen based on shilling their franchise then it would be Erdrick or Sora.
Chrono is a legacy choice but the greatest choice would clearly be Geno.
Sakurai wanted him in, this would be a great start to a new golden age of Square Enix and Nintendo working together.
Who knows, they could bring back a new RPG game as well and have SE help produce it like old times and it could star Mallow and Geno.
