I don't think I'm gonna make it, bros. He's too strong ;_;

Git gud
Genuine question: how did DSP beat this guy in less than half an hour?
I refuse to believe he did it blind, he must have used a guide or something. I don’t even think SS Isshin’s THAT hard, but at DSP’s skill level he’d probably be that hard.
Beat genichiro no damage first phase, should be pretty damn easy.
Second phase try to bait his Mikiri and Sweep attack, just walk to the left and you got yourself two free hits.If he charges his sword to do that retarded fullscreen slash charge up your Umbrella since the hitbox for that attack is retarded.
Third phase keep and eye on the long combo of the spear, you want to get all the Mikiri opportunities here and deflect/attack just so that his posture wont go down. When hes charging up his spear, if you cant parry, use the Umbrella
Last phase is the same as the third one, but theres a chance he will jump and throw thunders at you. Reverse light this fucker and hell go down in no time.
>TLDR Git gud faggot
I felt like I already had.
The two underwater Headless (Ashina Castle, Fountainhead Palace), Demon of Hatred and Isshin are the only bosses I have left. I'm not doing the underwater Headless because they're shit gimmicky fights and give nothing good in return. But DoH and Isshin are ones I would like to do before I sell it.
dont give up, first fase should be flawless, second fase is easy, just posture.
fase 3 and 4.. git gud
use a bigger sword than his
lmao
Just dodge, mikiri and pressure
I've got into the third phase of the fight just by being cautious and using the the Spiral Spear to do poke damage. It's the third and fourth phases I get fucked on. By that point I've usually used all my health items and I'm just living on a hope and a prayer.
He farmed like a ton of Attack Power before the boss, right?
He's a test of whether or not you understand the combat. If you hesitate, you lose. Sekiro is about facing danger, rather than avoiding it.
t. 2nd try
>I don’t even think SS Isshin’s THAT hard
Because he objectively isn't. Some people psyche themselves out against a boss they've been told is extremely difficult. I felt the same way going into SSI, but after I died once to him I realized he's not that bad. Beat him on my second attempt right after. DSP is only pretending to be retarded
Is it just me or was this guy sorta underwhelming as a final boss?
Like after beating the likes of Genichiro, Ape, DoH, and Lady Butterfly it just seemed sorta boring in design.
tfw you realize dsp is better at vidya than you
He was extremely agressive on the second and third phase. He fought him right beside a wall and overwhelmed him with attacks and fully upgraded shinobi axe.
If he had to do it again, he'd take it slower and have way more trouble.
>He's a test of whether or not your understand the combat
Ugh, no. He's literally the last boss in the whole game, you fucking idiot. If you've got to that point you already know what you're doing.
Lady Butterfly is the early game "do you understand how the combat works now?" pleb filter.
>If you've got to that point you already know what you're doing
No. I played the whole game like it was Dark Souls.
The last boss is what taught me how Sekiro is actually supposed to be played like.
What attack power did DSP have?
I have 11.
No you didn't. I'd be surprised if you even played the game at all.
You gotta to learn his patterns and attack on the openings.
I'm not the guy you were talking to by the way.
I beat the game twice.
On my first run I deflected and defended nearly nothing.
On my second run I played with the bell and with no charm and played the game properly, as intented.
And as the last boss he tests whether or not you have learned the game. That's why many find him underwhelming. Why does that seem so wrong to you?
Butterfly can be easily cheesed in a couple of ways, and neither of them are difficult for a new player to discover.
no fucking idea. as if i'd watch that nigga
74
>Lock on
>Run away
>Wait until he does an attack that leaves him open
>Hit him once
>Repeat
Honestly, this is how I've played the whole game. Dance around like a faggot looking at each attack and eventually learning when I can get a shot in. People might say it's cheesing or you're not playing the game how it's "supposed to be played". But really I don't care.
Beating a boss over 15 minutes with chip damage is better than spending half the night screeching in frustration like a massive autist and bitching on Yea Forums.
Isshin is a fucking retard. Just keep away from him and he will strike 3 times then you punish him. Later on when he uses the spear you just wait for the jump attack and get behind him to get 2 attacks. The last phase is a piece of cake if you did learn to deflect lightnings.
LAY DOWN
AND STAY DOWN
Still just a pupper.
NG isshin is literally piss easy. Even if ur a complete retard you can just outheal him and kill him with firecrackers. Noone with any skill needs more than 2 hours for him.
Firecrackers are literally worthless outside of needing time to heal.
>Use Firecrackers (Long Spark)
>Stuns the enemy for about 3 seconds
>That 3 seconds can be cut short if you hit them
>They don't even cause damage
They're a total fucking meme. The throwing stars (I forget the name) and Spear prosthetics are way, way more useful. Especially the Spiral Spear. It costs one emblem to use, has big range, AND it causes vitality and posture damage through blocked attacks.
Then you are braindead retarded if it took you until the final boss to know how the game is played, seriously what the fuck is wrong with you?
Idk. It worked, so I kept playing like I was playing. My playstyle worked perfectly for Demon of Hatred which I fought moments before I fought the last boss.
because the game is a joke if you understand how it should be played.
OK first off, why the fuck would you be using Long Spark and not Purple Fume? I can see why you think it's bad since you aren't using the best one. You also don't seem to understand how people use it that makes it good, guess what takes a lot of time? A full charged Ichimonji. It's amazing that most people see that hitting someone cancels the stun so they say "Oh I should do the art that does the most damage in one hit" but you say "What the fuck this is useless also I'm not even gonna upgrade it" and you think everyone else the idiot.
1. Genichiro part is easy. You do it enough and you'll never get hit.
2. Firsr Isshin part is tough but do it enough and you'll get used to it.
3. As soon as Isshin starts to do second stage, keep attacking him and he'll be locked into his first phase moveset for a little while. You can get good damage in here.
4. As soon as he pulls out the spear and gun, just start running like a madman. Every once in awhile he'll do a leaping attacking. As he's in the air, run behind him and do one or two quick hits. After you hit him, immediately retreat and start running around again.
5. Wait for him to leap and do it again. Rinse and repeat. Works for his third phase as well.
he is the final skill check of the game, time to learn how to play it right
he has decent fighting game reflexes, which helps him with reads and reactions
the stream also spoonfed him on how to get to Owl 2 and DoH so he had an extra attack boost over most people on their first playthrough
>only 2 hours
lmao'ing at this guy
>OK first off, why the fuck would you be using Long Spark and not Purple Fume
By the time I had the materials for the last upgrade I realised Firecrackers were total shit and not worth wasting resources on. I don't know what else to say. I've played though the whole game and never had any use for them at all. I've used them here and there because people said they were good, but in all honesty I've never really found a practical use for them.
And you didn't ever think, "huh maybe people are talking about the highest level upgrade?" Instead you jump to "everyone is wrong but me"? I hope you realize what that says about you.
lol, go tried to fight against "Demon of Hatred" this mf took me 5 days!!!!
Bros I have been stuck on Owl for like a week (but I can't play everyday). What is the secret sauce? Is it a battle of endurance or should you stay aggressive like during Genichiro? I have not had too much trouble with any bosses until now. He just hits so fucking hard and does so much poise damage. I struggle to get hits in because I use my break to regain posture.
