I tried to do that on a N64 emulator and it was a nightmare

Wii U pro controller. 80 hours of battery life, great Dpad, great buttons, and lightweight. Just get an adapter for it to use on the PC and other consoles.

I'd say it's just a retro games issue, especially with early 3D games, I needed to spend like 5 minutes rebinding Dues Ex to have not retarded controls
