ok so just gonna say this once more; arenas are pretty glitched. they sometimes crash, and they sometimes keep picking the same custom stage over and over even if you switch to another stage, i seen it happen a lot. It refuses to pick other people's stages sometimes, but it will load music from other stages. it doesn't happen all the time but it happens sometimes.

i wish stages had tags so when i search up a game name i find stages that are named after maps from that game.

As an FYI for anyone hoping to cut their costs down a bit, use the draw tool and make lines with points rather than drawing out curves. Curved lines/shapes cost FAR more than ones made with several short lines. I managed to make a good looking, non jank giant girl stage AND keep it available for 8 players So she can be even bigger!

Yeah I'm really sad about that, cause aesthetically it came out pretty spot on to the game. I've tried slowing Raphael down in Builder but it still causes lag, I'm not exactly sure at this point what's making him lag the game so bad. My best guess is there are just too many Circle tools onscreen at once compounded by the fact that most are moving.

It also might be the way I animated Raphael, he isn't just a floating object on a spin, if you look from above he is on a stick that is in the center where the actual spin is applied to make him centered on the moon, like a pop-up book. it worked in animating him, but I think that might be the reason he lags so much, the object just might be way too big. Word of warning for anyone who wants to make a really large moving object made mostly out of circles.

I would like the castle to be a bit more visible, so I might adjust things a bit and make a v2.
I imagined players would tend to avoid the walk-off due to the risk of an early death which would bring them towards the castle, but I don't know if that incentive is enough.

I really liked that one user's stage based on the chandelier fight from Super Mario RPG, so I wanted to do my own take on it.

I realize the background wall is less accurate to the original fight's pure black and white, but the skybox looked a lot like Vista Hill, so consider it as more of a "reimagining" than anything. Plus I hit the object limit so I couldn't add any more windows.

A killer7 stage would be dope, but I have no clue what you could do that would look right or be fun to play on. Maybe something from Cloudman or Alter Ego? You could recreate the windmills, either as platforms or in the background. The coolest thing would be the entrance rooms before the boss fights, but it wouldn't be the same without Rave On playing.

Made this the other day after seeing a post about no stages involving it. There's a cannon that launches you out the back of the egg and a spring through the thin platform at the top. The sprite in front of the egg itself has to fall away, having a background sprite with smooth foreground looked weird.
You can also stand a few places on Luigi.

BB1S7BT4: A volcano based level where shit falls through convenient slots. Don't get hit! The volcano in the background erupts very infrequently.
9JGXJMYJ: A level that shrinks if you blow up the bombs. It's a small stage.

By "reference image" I meant a pic of what I based the stage on. I just made the grid on top of it.
Here's the method I suggest if you want to use a process like I did:
>draw a rectangle that will contain what you want to draw, and/or a rough, basic shape of the object itself
>scale the rectangle/rough shape up by as big a factor as feasible (2x is fine for large objects, 4x, 6x, or even higher can work for smaller and more intricate objects)
>measure your scaled-up object to find its width w and height h
>open your reference image in your preferred image editor, and scale it up if necessary
>divide the image dimensions by your object dimensions to get your grid size and make a grid
>in another layer, draw polygonal shapes snapped to the grid over the reference object matching it as closely as possible
>copy these polygons in-game
>scale down by the same factor you scaled up by
