Epic is mostly better than Valve at it's service though. Epic offers MUCH bigger cut for developers who make games for you, unlike valve who takes massive cut for doing nothing. Epic also provides much more customer friendly enviroment with no review bombing or toxic community. Free game every two weeks is amazing fan service. If you live in a relevant part of the wolrd youll also get cheaper games.

The advantages of epic games launcher

>free games every so often
>buys the shit out of exclusives
Not a single benefit is passed onto the consumer.
Meanwhile, Steam takes a bigger cut of the dev paycheck, but also has

>shopping cart
>wishlist
>Mac support

Outside of paid exclusives, I can't think of a single thing Epic does for the consumer that steam doesn't
a quick reminder that 30% cut is also average for a digital store and if you really cared about that so much you should be shilling Discord which has a 10% cut and that the cut doesn't affect developers but rather publishers and although free games are nice Steam sales and bundles save you way more money.
Another reminder is that review bombing only exists because the publisher has horrible communication with the consumer
