My worst fear was my console not being able to read a cd/DVD. The playstation 1 and 2 were particularly bad about this. I wouldnt consider that part of my childhood tho. I guess my fear when I was a child in relation to vidya was just the difficulty of games. Kids today think dark souls is hard. Try playing a game that's already hard on top of archaic controls. At least games now have rather tight controls, arent a developer's worst nightmare, and run smoothly. Games back in the door were just thrown together and a lot of companies didnt know what they were doing.

Do you even live in America? Suburbia doesnt exactly have stellar public transport if it even has it at all. Not to mention they don't even go in the actual neighborhoods. It is only when you are in a big city you have stops everywhere. Everyone in the suburbs owns a car and drives everywhere, every suburb that isnt designed in grid streets is a huge maze with only 3 exits that takes 4x as long to escape than it should(unfortunately this is all of them)

I used to live there, now I live in a smaller city with rural instead of suburb sprawl outside. The buses really only go on the main roads and the places people live are all at least an hours walk to get to them unless you are lucky enough to afford the condos close to everything.
