I can't have a main. If i play more than 3 games with one single character i start getting bored, which leads to not caring, which ultimately leads to losing. I tend to use different characters and often win a lot, but since GSP is tied to each individual character I am never making progress. So basically i am fucked.

Palutena is my favourite Nintendo character and I love zoners. She was my most played in 4 and she's even better in Ultimate. I like her a lot, especially in Uprising which is one of my favourite games ever, I like her playstyle a lot, couldn't ask for more. She was probably my biggest want for Smash 4 and I'm still extremely happy she got in.
Mr. Game and Watch was my very first genuine extreme surprise at a character showing up. I honestly thought I was done after Mewtwo back in the day, then months passed and suddenly another challenger showed up. I wondered why the fuck a stick man was a character until I saw his moves and remembered the Game and Watch Gallery I used to play on Game Boy. Been one of my mains consistently since then. He's very different to what I typically gravitate towards with that extreme glass cannon brawler set up (ridiculous killing power, very low weight) but he's SO extreme in that regard that I love it. Ultimate Game and Watch is his best incarnation too.

Mains: Samus and Ridley
Melee introduced me to Metroid when I was a young lad, and it quickly became my favorite game series. I've mained Samus in every smash game since, even when she was really bad like in smash4. I picked Ridley up because I just had to and feel his Ultimate design is the best he's ever had period.
After all these years of playing Samus though, I can't help but feel as if her gameplay design is inherently flawed. She doesn't do a great job of being a zoner, especially in comparison to other newer characters. I've recently found that not only is Mega Man more true to the way he operates in his own games, he's actually more fun to play as a result. Won't drop Samus, but I wish she received the Mega Man/Simon treatment of moving/working more like she does in her own games.
