This is the most boring game I've played in a while. DMCV was actually fun, getting combos with different techniques and weapons, not being a pretentious anti-fun art game. And I even loved all the other souls games (besides Bloodborne for the same reason).

bosses so far are shit, but the level design is pretty neat, the atmosphere is great, and some of the more unique mechanics are cool
for example, if you fight a human enemy and cut off their right arm you unlock the weapon they were holding in it
