So what do you think about Anno 1800?

Shit, like every Anno game.

FUCK CHINKS

>not buying directly on uplay for a 25% discount

Best Anno yet, i'm hoping it gets the same mod treatment that 1404 did as that kept me playing for a decade.

Seething poorfag.

Crack when?

waiting on a discount, will buy it under 30 bucks
I like the setting, not a big fan of some of the aesthetics tho
tell me about the mods, I really like 1404

but you need for that over 100 uplay Coins

2 days more

Which Mods?

Based. Stuck with JewPlay anyway because of other Ubi titles.

>Playing Anno on Steam
Just to be devil's advocate here, I hate Uplay as much as the next guy but getting it on Steam is fucking retarded.
You literally need to have Uplay installed and login to their service in order to play it on Steam. You're literally adding a layer of DRM on top of it. I was fucking livid when Anno came to Uplay with their stupid "3 installs per key" shit (actually got a refund from Uplay back then), but they toned down that bullshit a bit since then. Uplay is still a shitfest, but I'd rather have a shitfest than Steam on top of the shitfest.
And yeah, obviously don't get it on EGS, but it's well known in the community that Uplay is the least obnoxious way to play the majority of Anno games.

normal, hard or expert?

Attached: 1545557699594.jpg (399x399, 14K)

its fun

Probably best game in the series and thus best in the genre.

I prefere 1404s atmosphere tho.

Also- stop posting shit resolutions.

Attached: anno-1800-3840x2160-poster-4k-15625.jpg (3840x2160, 3.01M)

Just play with the difficulty and see what you enjoy. Going in dry against hardest AI with low amounts of cash and space and fertility can be really fucking hard.

Fuck buyfags, where is my crack? I fucking hate waiting for the crack

Attached: 1555864803022.png (1098x660, 1.1M)

Either wait, buy, or crack yourself. There is no other options, so stop wasting bandwidth by crying like a bitch.

I hole-hardedly agree, but allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. For all intensive purposes I think you are wrong. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you all seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out there. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go. Make my words, when you get down to brass stacks it doesn't take rocket appliances to get two birds stoned at once. It's clear who makes the pants in this relationship, and sometimes you just have to swallow your prize and accept the facts. You might have to come to this conclusion through denial and error but I swear on my mother's mating name that when you put the petal to the medal you will pass with flying carpets like it’s a peach of cake.

Both. One hoe in the old world and one in the new world.

just pirate another game while you wait
buyfags are slaving away to spend their pay check on 1 (one) game while normal human being have plenty of choices

Which Version should i get the Deluxe or the Normal Version?

>Probably best game in the series and thus best in the genre.
don't people say this about literally any game in any series the first few days/weeks?

it's hidden in your stepdads anus you fucking nigger.

Attached: ar5cq.jpg (2580x1450, 376K)

people are fucking stupid.
I'm not.

And each recent Anno game, except 2205 (2050 was fien but didn't improve that much) was better than previous one and any competition.

1404 was a gold standard. 1800, with few patches and upcoming dlc, will be that for year to come.
Untill greek polis ANNO 720BC comes out.

Literally JUST hit stage 3 campaign on advanced. How much longer do I have? I've JUST started artisans, don't even have any of their needs started yet. What level do I need to get to to "beat" the campaign. Engineers? Investors?

> Grids.

>2050
2070 ofc.

So how much of the stuff in that pic is doable? I saw people complaining about docks earlier.

Attached: 1355312531344.jpg (497x544, 112K)

Do I need to be an autist to enjoy this game?

Attached: cwch.jpg (960x540, 37K)

I don't see much that isn't doable here, people were complaining about diagonal docks

no

yes

>tell me about the mods, I really like 1404
Which Mods?

iaam1404.projectanno.de/start_eng.htm

Adds hundreds of new decorative buildings, lots of new civic buildings new resources, new production buildings and production chains, new citizen requirements, two new civilization/buildings types (asian and arctic), rebalanced everything.

It's 1404 on crack.

>two new civilization/buildings types (asian and arctic)
Oh and it adds the ability to build Venetian cities as well, forgot that.

How does it improve over 1404 and 2070?

Can't wait until the Arctic DLC for 1800

Lmao it's this retard again. Why do you care? Go ahead and do your thing because literally no one else cares where you play the game.

Crack when?

Are you just posting this every thread to annoy people?

Soon brother.
Just kidding, scene crackers said not to expect it any time soon and it might take months

yes

based denuvo

Ah. Congrats.

Source?

I'd like it a lot more if quests and notifications didn't completely break at random.

Do we even know what it's going to be?

I'm still trying to figure out what exactly they're going to do with it.

Everyone seems to assume it's going to expand the world map and give us a third world with islands etc, but i'm not so sure.

Ii'm wondering if it's going to be more focused on arctic themed choose your own adventure exploration based events with maybe a minimal settlement (if any at all).

City builders are fundamentally ill-designed.
When all goes well, they're boring.
When shit goes South, they're frustrating.
They're never just fun.

It is literally the same game that they keep making over and over again.

It's good, but it would be top notch when they add some content like with other anno games. The planned timeline is looking pretty juicy though.

like god intended

I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to the underwater parts of 2070, just a small settlement but with actual things to do this time since we have expeditions and such.

When all goes well you are satisfied and content and work on expanding to get more satisfaction or to work towards your victory condition

When shit goes south you work on that, and beating it gets satisfaction due to overcoming a challenge.

nth for fire hazards

Attached: screenshot_2019-04-22-10-17-38.jpg (1920x1080, 827K)

Literal fucking brainlet.

Citybuilding is great, everything else is a buggy unfinished mess

Ship AI is literally the most retarded I've ever seen.

>need zinc
>need limestone
>only 1 node of each on the entire map
just fuck my shit up senpai

>Not on Steam

Pirate it is

Attached: 1555509897393.jpg (1080x1143, 80K)

hows the ship ai

Good thing it's 90% citybuilding then.

>Finish Campaign
>Only upto Artisans

Huh, I thought I would need to build more factories

>steamcucks want a triple DRM layer this badly
yikes

yes but a well-adjusted autist who is not a tranny

Its the best game in the genre. Needs a few things addressed such as bugs and quality of life things, but, the game itself is superb.
Unfortunately it has been released just before easter holidays so fixes are a bit delayed.
Coming from a nolife that has played pretty much every similar game extensively from the past 20 or so years, its the best one. First time I'm excited for expensive superfulous dlc in my life.

Are you german?

Best Anno game so far. Making farms has never been so enjoyable.

Attached: screenshot_2019-04-22-18-42-45.jpg (1904x1041, 733K)

Nah just an autistic cunt, cunt. I mean aussie. Cunt.

>Those layouts
Efficient and aesthetic, good stuff.

Attached: Nice.jpg (744x500, 96K)

the farms in this game are gorgeous
almost tricked me to be a farmer

Bugged cuurently. Atleast the stand ground stance is.
I love the fact that I can place farms and have them fill every sqaure inch of where I want fields. A mix of order and natural asymmetry that comes with the landscape makes for organic yet structured aesthetics.

how do you make booze from potatoes

Fermentation of carbohydrates creates alcohol.

Building mass farming in previous anno games made me quit the game so many times because of the fixed rectangular plots. This is a welcomed improvement to the game.

So where is the crack?

Buy it so you can play online with us frien

but playing online must be so boring because its only war and war

I've played them all. And imo Caesar III is the pinnacle of city sims. I still play CIII mixed in with 1440 and a couple others.

I don't know, user. What do I think?

Attached: pain.jpg (550x123, 12K)

Well, having only one really well defended but tiny shithole of an island off in the corner of the map and roaming around being an absolute menace to three other players all whilst trying to plunder enough trade to pay for your fleet upkeep and stave any attempts of share aquisition for 6 hours is hella fun.

the game BTFOs zoomies, poorfags and steamdrones all at the same time
amazing

>but playing online must be so boring because its only war and war
That is the complete opposite of what Anno MP is like.

It's super chill and comfy, especially co-op.

>Not having so much money that you don't know how to spend because you have limited time to play video games

You have to be 18+ to browse Yea Forums

But this is 4channel grandpa.

How's combat? As clunky as 1440?

>finally unlock new world
>start expedition to get there
>as soon as I make it through it spawns me where the pirate island is
>can't move or do anything without dying right away

wtf how do I proceed now.

just play 1404, it's better

Thats odd. Pirates weren't even hostile to me when I first arrived.
Try asking for a ceasefire? Although the money needed is probably absurd.

I frequently revisit alot of them myself with quite the soft spot for pharoah and rotmk.
Its nice nowdays that most old games will work without too much trouble. I remember a period of time around when windows vista and early 7, was a pain in the ass trying to get the damn things to run.

well yes, but the last 10% of ship micromanagement when you're trying to take islands without your ships either sailing directly into the cannons or fucking off after random passing vessels is massive aids.

It's ok.

Is there any way to get this without the epic games launcher

Attached: 1515966538399.jpg (254x199, 10K)

Uplay.

Well shit I guess I'll try that

Vodka da da!

>cool, a zoo
>cool, a museum
>why can't I settle on new islands anymore?
>can't build new ships anymore too
>guess I need to raise my pops for more influence
>shit, need more wares to keep people happy
>oh shit, more workers required now for those production lines
>guess I build more houses then
>25k pops now, still too little influence
>plan around for hours until it dawns me
>the fucking 20 piece museum and 30 piece zoo

and then everyone declared war on my and they took my rum island. should I start fresh? I can take the island back, but it would take me a while, because I need build and transfer a few ships to new world for it

>Try asking for a ceasefire? Although the money needed is probably absurd.

what's up with that early game, it costs 90k+, but later, when I'm swimming in millions, I'm only paying 7-9k

You might as well start over.

pretty good but they removed so much functionality from earlier titles, what the fuck

you are probably strong enough by then that they know they can't just push you around so easily

Is there a way to tell how much food and stuff you have to charter between island based on the pop there?
I can't really tell the consumption rate to travel time ratio

have you bought the $25 season pass and $10 bonus pack yet like a good boy?

of course
you are not poor, are you?

It's tied to how much the other guy likes you.
I know, it's completely retarded, you can't even force him to capitulate or into a cease fire treaty until he is either completely nuked or till he likes you again and then asks for close to nothing for a peace treaty.

just not a kuck

lost my sale because of epic store, waiting for denuvo crack, should be within 2 days

shut up commie fuck

Getting investors gives 1 inf per house, so important to get even if you can't fulfill their needs.
Yes hopefully they add them back in. These devs have been really good though, listening alot to suggestions during development so hopefully they keep it up.

It's on uplay without having to need the epic store

>inb4 m-muh steam

steam offers better download compression, r6 siege proved that with one of the last major updates vs the uplay download, pretty based for flyover state gamers with shit interwebs

uplay isn't an option as a primary store.

hilariously I see that anno is 25 to 33% off on every online store, meaning their sales have absolutely cratered due to the Epic deal. Hope the $2 million was worth it.

>uplay isn't an option as a primary store.

You mean you literally can't buy it there or you refuse to?

Stressful as fuck

Refuse, as well as refuse to buy the game in general.

Uplay does the same shit as Origin/Epic...randomly banning people, no customer service, etc.

Steam will not ever go down, but uplay will vanish within years, it has no reason to exist at all

okay pcbro

steam version comes with uplay

based and retardpilled

Gabe's cocksuckers on suicide watch

yes, but Steam is the primary platform, not uplay. Uplay isn't for use as a *primary* platform, like I said.

I'm going to get 1404 on Steam. Should I get gold edition, or does the expansion matter?

You're fucking autistic and it's funny to me

The company made an anti-consumer decision and clearly lost about 33% of their sales if not more

I think that's funny. It's not really about uplay even, it's about not supporting companies that make anti-consumer decisions.

Yes its worth it. But make sure you play the vanilla campaign first.

just add non-steam games to your library, it's so easy

Missing the point completely. It's not about launching the executable through steam

I am struggling so much. Being efficient is so damn hard. I can barely keep up when I get to artisans.

but?
if you bought it on steam before it was pulled down you still don't get achievements, can't get rid of uplay or whatever other autistic shit you care about

thank you user, mods look great

Anno 1800 is my first Anno game, I'm enjoying it and I think I'm slowly getting it. Playing on Normal, I only just moved up to the Engineer populace, and I just used about 6 Ship of the Line to destroy the Pirates Base.

However, two of my rivals are getting absolutely creamed and the third (the pink lady, Bertha?) is waaay ahead in military, and about equal to me in economy.

She's refusing all offers to trade with me, so I'm worried she's going to wind up getting ahead of me, declaring war and turning the whole thing into a giant slug-fest. What do I do to fix this? Should I try get on her good-side? Or is it better to prepare for war myself and try out-compete her in military? I'm just worried that if I do go to war with her, those 5,000 warships she's got patrolling the water will start wrecking all my trade routes. But that's probably inevitable.

Attached: 1551517106089.png (564x473, 413K)

it's not about achievements. i don't get how you don't understand the point that uplay isn't a primary platform and steam is.

uplay doesn't have a reason to exist. it can just go down at any time.

It's ridiculous how much this Western Game is making me want to have sex with my sister. Usually that's only for JP games.

I'm guessing that's why my character originally ran away from home in the first place.

I played the beta

I feel like
It's like I was playing a mobile game honestly
All the quests were like that as well
>Fetch quest
>Find waldo
>Number go up

I don't see how it's in anyways appealing
This $60 mobile game

Attached: ,,,.png (442x442, 455K)

>Everyone in the beta threads was talking about how incredibly comfy Anno games were
>Discussions about spending a whole day just playing around on it
>Try it out, Beta more than lives up to my hopes
>Get the real game
>Realise I've been tricked
>It's not comfy. It's not comfy at all.
>It's "Everything is exploding all at once and your rivals are out-competing you, hurry up, hurry, hurry!" Even getting to the New World only added more pressure because my Rivals were soon colonising even more Islands than I was
>Can only play it for a few hours at a time before needing to take a break

I'm actually enjoying it, but I seriously got bamboozled here.

Attached: 1510494437548.png (638x359, 247K)

I've been having a lot of fun, but my income keeps fluctuating a huge amount, and i don't know how to fix it. Anyone have a solution?

Attached: 1555367302030.jpg (802x1024, 108K)

Gonna wait for the crack to give it a go before I buy it, 2070 burned me pretty bad

I cannot disagree more with this statement. But I do think that the classic Ceasar/Zeus/Emperor games were more relaxing than this. The addition of rivals makes it more competitive

get a consistent production line of luxury goods

You build a few more ships of the line and declare war on her before she declares one on you of course.

New World is way too barebones. No decoration and no monument. Arctic and desert is going to be the same

It's absolutely fine for 99% of what you want to do. But really annoying when doing combat, because the pathfinding is terrible and it makes strange decisions.

But generally, it's absolutely fine. Use Frigates or Ship of the Lines for patrols or even trading, and they'll keep their routes, attack any enemies they come across, and generally do exactly what you want. If you need to move a ship off it's trade route to take care of something for a minute, it doesn't forget it's route, so you can just click a button when you're done and it'll get right back to where it was.

It's mostly perfectly fine.

>denuvo AND launcher
no buy ever

Is there a reason to make Fields above the limit, or is it purely for aesthetics?

Trade more/better.

Invest in your rivals islands.

If its fluctuating, its because you aren't producing enough goods to maintain a steady supply.
Spy on your households for a bit and see if anything seems to drop from 100% satisfaction.
Once you know what the problem is, either overwork production or place new production buildings.
Or buy through your harbor.

And it will take the game with it, there's online stuff going on with uplay in the background.

>watch the credits
>been trying not to hum "I wear a pink tutu" all day

>Influence is effectively limited
This feels like a really dumb decision in the long run. It also means that using any on newspapers ever is just a bad idea in all but the most extreme cases.

>rows of distilleries
>no firestation in sight

Attached: 1512426846894.jpg (1280x720, 60K)

Declare war on her and hunt down her patroling Ships of the Line, the take over her small islands and build a large fleet (10+ ships of the line) with hull upgrades and try to take her main island (it should have guns on on 2 beaches).

Oh shit, forgot those tend to explode, it's the 1st time i've made a farm+distillery. Will add a fire station later.

>It also means that using any on newspapers ever is just a bad idea in all but the most extreme cases.
You get back your influence once a new newspaper comes out. But editing your paper too much is a bad idea in general since eventually your people will lose their shit.
I kinda agree though, it makes trade unions really hard to use for me since I'm not a hardcore minmaxer. Also zoo and museum are linked to it too.

Soon

Attached: 423750632342342.jpg (732x1046, 76K)

I found it quite easy to get on her good side. Been playing a very friendly game with her.
Do her quests, regularly ask her for them too. You can also flatter her and give her money gifts if you can afford it.
She also really likes if you do some propaganda on your newspaper, it's very easy to get reputation that way. At about 80 rep you can ask for trade rights/allyship. If you set up a small trade route with her, you're pretty much golden. Never had to worry about her after that.

So what's the best combo of AI to still make them "compete" but not be fuckhats. I'm inclined to say George, O'Hara, and Qing - two Medium to actually compete with one another, the third to remove a bit of pressure and not have all 3 clamoring unreasonably for everything.

Attached: AU_BBM3400_DevBlog_the-visionary_Concept-Art_872x437.jpg (872x437, 252K)

I'm running Gasporov, O'Hara and Quing right now.
Gasporov and O'Hara are at war with eachother but don't bother me yet.
Quing is pretty pathetic but she's a QT so I won't crush her yet.

Only problem I have is that O'Hara expands in the New World like a MOTHERFUCKER.

>worker strike mechanic
>only response is to beat them with police

comfiest way to play
>no ai
>no win conditions
time for just city building

How do I make money?
Window factories are way too expensive for me.

Fuck Influence and fuck the Royal Taxes.

Let us snowball like madmen like we've always done.

If only could add ai later in the game

Wait, 10 SotL is all it takes? Even if they have Big Bertha and several towers?

Whats the pathing like in this one?

Like node-to-collection building. Or resource building to production building? Housing to workplace?

Relaxed or super important like a Caesar III kinda game?

Game mechanics in 1800 are the best from any anno yet, but it's so light in content, it really is barebones.
i'm curently replaying anno 2070 and there is so much more shit to do.
I'm probably not touching anno 1800 again until season pass content drop.

Also, do I need to bombard both fronts or just one?

>>only response is to beat them with police

Or, you know, keep them happy so they don't strike?

Everytime I get a strike, I check what's wrong and it's something like they've run out of fish or similar, so I solve it and the strike goes away.

Make beer and rum for your bums

>so I solve it and the strike goes away
Disgusting Socialist, just send in the police

>it's a starting island has neither pepper nor hops episode

Anyone know when we can expect the statistics building and community challenges that were announced?

I love the look of this game

When the fuck can we expect a patch to fix memory leaks?!

Not starting without harbor and choosing the perfect starter

In the news tab they say there's a patch coming the 25, don't know about memory leak though.

Holy shit hours just melt away when you play this game. I like those time notifications a lot.

>You honor this immortal
w-what did Aarhant mean by this? Is he a force of nature?

Attached: 1526641367732.png (599x563, 364K)

How do cracks work when the game gets patched all the time? Don't you miss out on all the patches?

tfw got the 10 hour notification and felt like an absolute degenerate.

Do you mean like scenarios? If so, I agree. It sounds like they are going to try to add some more. But as far as actually playing the game, I'm usually a sandbox player in Anno, and this one has been fantastic for that.

basically yes and denuvo make it even worse since they have to recheck every triggers after every patch.

anno 2070 didn't even get the last DLC cracked I believe, these kind of games get abandoned all the time by the crack scene after a while

Uncompromised Journalism!

depends on the game. usually people don't give a shit about patches.

No changes?! Really?!

>GERT
>LUSH

Attached: 1800.jpg (1332x749, 677K)

Princess qing like that

People don't give a shit about patches? Maybe 10+ years ago when you still were expected to deliver a working product when your game released, but almost every game needs a year+ of patches these days before it's actually "complete" and usable. Anno 1800 is remarkable for just how few bugs it has on release.

>battlecruiser worse than battleship
wow just return my 1000 cash per minute

Is there any compelling reason not to do Willie / Jorgensen / Quing?

Attached: willie.png (602x584, 325K)

Pirates will fuck you up in new world without a competent AI to take the heat away from you.

based

Attached: 1547232279726.png (1400x586, 692K)

Can you completely disable disasters/emergencies? I hated how 2070 insisted on adding fire/crime/uprisings even when that's tedious. (Don't get me started on Tornadoes, they're blatantly anti-fun.)

Make houses, then make alcohol, loads of it.
Now you are profiting.

Yes go on the custom options when starting a game.
You can also turn off other AI players so you can go full autism and create a perfect city.

Willie is a cool guy.
Fuck miss pink though, that landwhale can die in a fire for all i care.

>Not just paying the pirates to leave you the fuck alone

>Early Access

And still some never get 'complete'. Relying on community mod teams to finish their game

>You can also turn off other AI players
Yeah, I always do that. And from what I'm seeing in these threads, it isn't fun to play vs AI in 1800 either.

well i'd say that if game doesn't work when it's released then it isn't worth pirating or buying. obviously there wasn't even effort then.
fuck the "we'll fix it later" mindset.
if you think that your product if good enough to release then it should work. but mostly meant that people don't care that patch fixes some small shit.

this game isn't your kind of autism. For instance you aren't supposed to focus on quests in a citybuilder / production line game. Quests is just filler bullshit to appease optional A.I to get on their good side and buy time before you eventually go to war.

Attached: 1542082987669.jpg (1382x960, 84K)

Reminder that the Investor portrait is the best one. Waifufags need not reply.

Then what's the point of pirating if you just end up with a broken game?

its ok to play with the easy ai, they ask you for permission before settling on new islands

>none of the qt portrait girls will ever reward you irl for being an efficient leader that only brings happiness to his people

Paying pirates for cassetes, floppies and CDs was piracy. Since nobody is making any profit and money for game is present and not ending in dev's pocket there can be no piracy.

But companies twisted that term and even in absence of money they dare to speak about it.

What the fuck are you on about. We're talking about paying pirates in the game to leave you alone. Fuck off with your real world pseudo-redpill shit.

>Play a comfy game
>Suddenly get a message that I lost and Bente won
>Didn't even say how she won
Uh

Probably Aesthetic Victory.

Did you not have many decorative buildings?

Waiting on the crack. Not because I'm a poorfag or that I don't think the devs deserve my money, but because after 2070 I absolutely do not want to put up with uPlay if i can in any way avoid it. If I could pay for a DRM-free copy I would in a heartbeat.

The music that plays when you have a fire is way too intense. I always expect some fucking orcs rundown from the mountains or at least a pirate attack when I hear it, but it's always just one farmer's home burning. And it just keeps on going.

How long does the campaign take? I just got Artisans. I'm a noob to Anno but I just want to jump into my own game with no AI for maximum comfiness, but I also don't want to miss any important information about the game.

Oh God this. I usually mobilise extra firefighters and skip to the other map until i get the message its over.

The campaign should be over by the time you get artisans.

What difficulty level?

artisans are required to build the frigate for the quest you get like 30 mins into the campaign
it ends with a big battle against the evil masked lads

took me like 5h on expert

I'm on normal. Have a quest to make the ship that was locked by Artisans but didn't have time to do that. Cool to know that it's almost over now though

once you get to the new world focus on doing all the shit they want there and export rum back to your artisans for ez money
after that start to gather materials for a fleet and ammass at least 800 free workers for the last building project
then build assloads of ships and do the last fight

>Assload of ships
How optimised and resource intensive is this game, will an I7 5500u suficientemente ir will I have to get a brand new toaster again?

I'm looking most forward to the Richard Sharpe DLC where they'll introduce ground based combat.

Ships in any number aren't the problem, the problem is at mid-to-endgame you have hundreds and hundreds of multi-story buildings housing your populace all with people running around on the streets on multiple islands in multiple regions, and if you don't turn the AI competitors off this is exacerbated by a factor of 3

it runs fine on my i7-2600k
I used this guy's settings and never touched them again because fuck having to restart every time

>run gasparov/hunt/jorgensen
>manage to claim all the required resources from nearby islands and one new world island
>hunt proceeds to go on a rampage and takes out gasparov and takes literally every other island in the game, leaving me and jorgensen with about 7 total islands
jesus christ

Jesus moving all your heavy industry off your primary island is such a fucking helpful move. It frees up so many workers and the extra attractiveness gives you a ton of extra bonuses.

Do you build more workers houses on the second island, or do you use the commuter port?

>AI island in campaign has big avenues with street cars.
>Can't actually get them in game.

Not fair.

I built worker houses. Its not hard to have a couple hundred workers. Its actually damned easy.

The industrial revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race

forgot to add that she keeps periodically threatening me with war and I have to pay her 70 grand each time because she has about 20 SotLs

I'm more worried about the factories that need engineers. I don't want to waste all of my time shipping brass, saltpetre, etc if I don't have to.

And stuff like this is why I don't understand playing with Hard AI. Just doesn't seem all that fun to me.

>player can choose blue, light blue, greenish blue, green, purplish blue, black, and yellow only
Why did they do this with the color choices?

>money's a little tight in early artisan stage
>take a trip to Kahina's beast depot
>buy 40 tons of rum on the cheap
>dump it in my storehouse
>tax income goes through the roof and the people throw me a parade

pssh... Nothin personnel, drunks.

This really annoyed me too. The color selection is loony. Not a single nice one and 3 blues? really

I currently run a solo game with just Hunt and the pirates, been claiming a couple of useful islands right at the start. Hope getting on Anne's good side will keep Hunt at bay for a while.

Thanks guys, this is the one thing that I was most worried about, I've had other games where everything runs great at the beginning only to end up slowed to a crawl later in game. Knowing it's possible to still enjoy this with my old processor might make me decide to bite the bullet and buy it after all.

I like the challenge of dealing with a massive looming threat so it doesn't feel like I'm playing an idle game. The AI also makes you change your gameplay to appease them (hunt hates propaganda for instance) so it's an added challenge

I hope this game never gets cracked.

Why?
