My spouse has watched me play many games over the years, and it is because of this that she has become a fan of them. Persona 5, Blood Borne, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, >Observer, SOMA, God of War, Breath of the Wild - only a few of the games she has watched me play from beginning to end. She never wants to play and she begs me to play on the weekends so she can watch. She truly loves these games and we discuss our favourite characters and boss fights all the time.

She plays games on her own, too. The Bio Shock series, Demon Souls, the Tomb Raider series, Witcher 3, only to name a few. But when we get a block buster console game or story heavy game, she would rather sit on the couch with me and watch.

I have so many comfy memories of waking up on Saturday mornings, brewing some fresh coffee, and snuggling up on the couch with an oversized, super soft blanket while we boot up Persona 5 and decide who we're going to romance next (the answer is all of them, although she wanted me to go steady with Makoto, who also ended up being my favourite.).

Americans aren't taught to prepare meals at home. To them dining out every day is just normal.
