How is this? Anybody plays it here?

i did for a while, then sekiro came out. its extremely comfy. like. too comfy. to the point of being boring.
its extremely boring if you want some space sim try X4: Foundations (i would likely wait for expansion or two)
Comfy but you have to know what you're getting into. It's something you chip away at while you listen to audiobooks or whatever, not a game you really actively engage with. The hardest thing you'll do most of the time is parking.
Most of the time you're just a space trucker flying from place to place. You leave port, set your course, fly for a few minutes, ask permission to land in another port, and make your trades. Save up enough money and maybe you can buy a decent gun to go on combat missions, but combat is difficult and risky.
its great if you're in the mood
Probably the most realistic space simulator, very comfy, slow and grindy, great graphics, it's amazing with vr
It's truly a mixed bag. It's a game that only works for certain people. Essentially it's Space Truck Simulator with extra point in presentation and atmosphere. While there's plenty of action to be had, it's the first game that comes to mind concerning comfy space games. It's fucking strikingly beautiful and, if you don't mind hauling people and goods across star systems, an almost zen-like experience.
I personally like it, but I have to play it in very occasional burst. I'll get into it for roughly a week every 5-6 months. Played it in VR on an off day recently though when I got my PSVR finally working, and it was magic. Definitely a must if you've yet to try VR.
So yeah, tl;dr it's a boring truck sim, but if the setting, immersion, and general presentation make up for it, you'll have a fucking blast, and if this actually IS your kind of game, then go ahead and sink the 10,000 hours you're destined to lose into it.
It's basically a space sandbox in a way. You're given basic infra of a space game and left to your wits to do what you want to do. Make your own fun type of game.
if you're expecting freelancer, do not play it as many anons have stated combat is risky and not very rewarding both in credit payout & experience
If you want space trucking simulator, this is your game the atmosphere and art direction are on fucking point
I'm honestly not sure how the new player experience is today but back when I started I did mostly combat and while it was a rough start it was alright and your ship is literally worth nothing so you don't usually lose much if you die.
