what is this OP a console war thread?
*Unblocks my path*
fixed
>It's a "I have 2TB free space on my HDD, but I can't spare 50Mb for a launcher" episode
>tfw I got as far as downloading the Origin client, making an account and adding billing information before I realized I didn't really want to play BF3 THAT much and removed my card from my account & uninstalled Origin
Steam is just better.
OP, I'm a mostly consolefag nowadays but to be fair
>Origin
Just shit, pirate all the good game on there
>GOG
You can install the games off the browser and never go on the site's library again, doesn't count.
>Uplay
Again, shit. Pirate all the crap on there unless you want to play R6S or something.
>MS Store
MS is already putting new blockbuster titles on Steam like MCC, so MS Store ones would be the standout.
>Battle.net:
Blizzard isn't putting out anything worthwhile anymore, other than Hearthstone maybe if you're into that, again, shit.
>Bethesda
Their games are on Steam. They've already learned their lesson of making their own game exclusive, it's pure retardation.
>Epic Games Store
Valid point.
>Discord
Again, all of the games in their library are on Steam or low-rent dogshit.
>HDD
Poorfag
>HDD
What are we in, the early 2000's?
those are more generally "platforms"
it's making fun of pcfags who mock the supposedly fractured console market
>I like it when companies shove additional DRM in my games and take them away when it feels convenient for them
>GOG
>DRM
admit it, you're just a valvecuck
All these launchers exist because the companies don't want to be involved with Steam and want to stick to their own thing. Selling games on the shelf isn't as effective and this is just the obvious next step in its evolution. Some of them aren't needed though to be fair.
what space age shit are you cunts using.
A magical device called a SSD
when have they taken games away?
there's more in that picture than just GOG, don't try and cherry pick like that
>Consoles
>Have to pay hundreds of dollars for shitty hardware to access the games you want to play
>PC
>Have to download an additional, free launcher to access the games you want to play
Yeah, PC sure did draw the shorter stick here!
posting from the year 2030
>continues to use DRM
It's not like you have a choice
an SSD you dumbass motherfucker
8tb hdd with a 1tb nvme ssd as cache master race
holy based
STADOMINATION
The good thing about PC is that we have like 6 stores with DRM-free options.
>goes to online game store
>yes, one copy of The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena please!
what does this have to do with anything? the game isn't being sold anywhere
Everything on the bottom still runs on the same machine though. Getting them all is free.
>
>(((SSD)))
>costs as much as a cheap 1tb hard drive
>wears out fast
>main selling point is "loading times are now 5 seconds faster"
Oy vey!
>wears out fast
they literally last far longer than HDDs you retard
properly fixed
Pardon my ignorance, but aren't SSDs more expensive than HDDs? Like, a 2TB SDD costs more than a 4TB HDD?
>Consoles: Pay twice for your internet
>PC: Play multiplayer for free on all but 1-2 single player exclusive titles that can be emulated
>Top
>$25 a month to play online on all 3
>Bottom
>All Free
Having to rebuy games due to no BC on PS4/Switch is far worse than using multiple launchers, but Console gamers don't exactly have high IQ
>buying games from Steam and GoG, pirating everything else
>pirating PS4 and Switch exclusives, never paying for online
What's wrong using HDD's these days you idiots, dont tell me you guys storing all your movies and anime pictures on an ssd, also just make a NAS setup or raid
