P3P works best for replaying P3 (all those quality of life improvements, plus you can't appreciate the minor changes from FeMC's side without playing MC's side first).

It's weird because I have the same combo, I mainly use the pc, of course, but I use my switch quite often for things that I feel would be better portable without much compromise. For example I bought Katana Zero on switch because it's portable and given it's an indie game, there's not much compromise so I decided on the switch version. I really think it just boils down to different strikes for different folks. It's interesting to hear how other people game while using this setup though.

Game-specific hacks and optimizations. Same reason that the Wii U emulator plays BotW super well and not much else. The few most popular and requested games run fine, but the devs don't have the time to dedicate that kind of TLC to every single game you might want to play. On a more powerful system that's less of an issue, but with something as relatively weak as a PSP, it simply does not have the grunt to emulate a wider selection of less tweaked-for titles.
