Is Final Fantasy VII ACTUALLY good?
Is Final Fantasy VII ACTUALLY good?
Yes, one of the best games ever made. But lots of superior games exist
What is Texas?
It's alright. Not bad.
I love that fuckin game brotha
A hamburger type
at the time it was made, on the hardware that was available, yes
legend of the dragoon is better
never heard of it
You're gay
Yeah.
Too bad they ruined Cloud's character post FF7 and flanderized him into an emo edgelord.
Also seen in this town is Korean BBQ, and Bugenhagen mentions Greece.
This is why good POV characters are usually empty shells for the player to fill in themselves, like Gordon Freeman and Halo. Otherwise you end up betraying everyone's personal image of the character no matter which direction you take them in.
What's Korean BBQ like?
Did any of the spinoffs with Cloud ever manage to correctly capture his personality from FF7 again?
it's good for all the reasons nobody says
i replayed it a couple years ago after not playing for like 15 years and it was just as enjoyable i was so surprised
What you're describing isn't what happened with Cloud. His development was completely thrown out the window. Cloud in Advent Children was acting like he never accepted that Aeris' death is not his fault, which was a MAJOR event in the original game. He also stops interacting with people and goes into depression because reasons. The whole geostigma nonsense is just a cheap way to wind back the clock on Cloud's character development. It literally doesn't make any fucking sense. It's like FF7 didn't even happen.
I think his personality change is overstated since he started more stoic and not any less of an 'edgelord' and just went to being less overtly confident. In AC his mopey personality is kind of excused because of the geostigma sickness that also affected his psyche.
It's literally the only Final Fantasy game worth playing 20+ years after it's release.
>It's like FF7 didn't even happen.
In the creator's eyes, this is what they want. The English translation, according to them, was wrong.
Coincidentally that translation is the only reason most people in the west give a shit about ff7 at all. That translation makes the game so much less generic and boring than it is in Japan.
All the PS1 games are like that. FFX would be too if not for the cut scenes.
How badly will modern Square fuck up the remake?
The game play is very old but the story is alot of fun
