After what I have seen of the clusterfuck that is MK11 and the fact that NRS wants to work(or is working) on a new original property, I sincerely hope WB allows other developers to touch the DC character for a fighting game.

It would for sure be better than the recent Capcom vs Marvel game at least, especially since WB doesn't give a fuck about pushing specific characters to fit with their movies like Disney is doing

Cut out other companies. Just let Capcom character fight each other. Give it UMvC3's roster size (and most-to-all of its Capcom roster) but 100% Capcom. Reuse assets from TvC/UMvC3/Infinite to fill it out, then add characters that fans and hardcores will like for good PR (adding Gene would be an easy way to make Yea Forums like it) and from franchises that haven't gotten shine in Vs before.

The main question is if Dante remains 3Dante or gets revamped to be 5Dante; probably the former for simplicity's sake and they just add 5Nero.

i think that if another MvC game would come out they should use 3 dante, but for any other versus they should use 5 dante. so there is some differences between the games

I think an MvC game with an X-Men vs. Darkstalkers theme would be very well received right now.

Obviously he'd restrict himself to normal punches. He'd never be injured but he'd forefit and compliment the opponent after they hit him enough times.

That would actually be a pretty cool mechanic; he'd just stop the match and ask to go eat or something after X amount of damage has been dealt. And fighting him turns your life bar into a "confidence" meter instead where every time he 'hits' you, you'd lose confidence until you're crying in disappointment at how incompetent you are at fighting him.

If it's with SNK it isn't going to happen. One of the head devs has already stated they have no intention of doing so. This dev was at SNK since 1993 up to the bankruptcy, and then went back for the development of KoF XIV. He also worked on SFIV during his time away from the company. When he went back to SNK he also convinced Neo_G who was responsible for pic related to go with him since the last thing capcom had him doing was writing manuals. A crossover with them ain't happening.

Unironically Marvel 4. I feel MVC is one of the only series so beloved that, even after Infinite, could come back and make everyone excited again. Capcom just has to get EVERYTHING right. One slight fuck up twice in a row and all of that faith is gone for good. I just don't know if they can do it, even with all of their other games being as amazing as they are.
