Thank you and ironically this comes from a fan of Sora. Man I used to remember that Sora did NOT start out as a hopeless Never Learning moron who seriously has to be mentally challenged nowadays. It really stings to see Sora become what he's been turned into thanks to Nomura. He was just some average kid with some common sense who wises up a bit as he experiences hardship. Now? He experiences hardship and never wises up. He never learns. And even when given warnings about not doing stuff he WILL do that stuff even if it's a disaster. He's just stupid. And worse Nomura insists that he is the central protagonist forever because Kingdom Hearts is Sora's Story. However how can anyone tolerate a story, let alone a LENGTHY one with a protagonist who is stupid and incapable of learning? Is it any wonder people gravitate to Riku, Roxas, and Lea? I think even Terra is more liked thanks to KH3 showing him not acting like an angry retard. Sora? Stays the same a moron.

Ventus is harmless and it seems the Ventus we know is not his true self because he had his mind erased and does't remember his past. And besides he's not the protagonist. He's just a character who happened to be playable. Sora for all intents and purposes is the protagonist of the overall franchise and frankly Ventus isn't stupid like Sora.
