Hey, I hated Act 6+ and liked the vast majority of the epilogues. Pretty much every moment with Gamzee was pure gold, and he was one of my least favorite characters during act 5.

I liked it. I was cracking up at the godtier Obama stuff.

This pretty much killed all my love for homestuck, not because its bad(it ibs) but you can really tell from the part Huss writes that he really dislikes the series, and that just breaks my heart.

Fuck no, take act 6 and 7, all the reasons they are bad and amplify them by tumblr.

Two paths, one considered canon (alpha timeline) and the other "fanon" (doomed timeline) that converge in weird meta ways. Lot of angst and Hussie killing characters/sinking ships. Ending left purposefully open.
It's better than most of Act 6 but it leaves you feeling empty.

dirk starts to become his "ultimate self" which gives him the power to control the narrative because one of his selves is doc scratch among other things
in the non-canon path he realizes he's in a doomed path and kills himself

he becomes omnipotent, so in the alpha timeline he basically just takes control of the story to the point of narrating it, and in the doomed one, he just straight up hangs himself

It's simple. The more relevant any form of Jack Noir is to the comic at any given point, the better. When Jack was the main threat for the kids and trolls, the story was good. When Spades Slick was important, the story was good.
