This Jax thing is fine and dandy for completely sodomizing his character, and the 3 hour story/movie on was ass compared to 9 and 10's which gave every single character in the roster a playable mission, but what I really want to know is how the game play changes have worked out and if the game's better for it.
Does the move swapping add more shit to characters like the three styles did in 10, or is it something you don't just have and need to lootbox for ala Injustice 2 only for it to never be used online as nobody wants that shit in a fighter?
How are the meter changes? Looking at it turns me off a bit seeing attack boost and defensive moves on separate meters that are time based rather then action based, and the X-Ray's as a comeback mechanic seems like it takes out some of the depth of meter management as well plus gives me some horrid flashbacks to stuff like X Factor Dark Phoenix type shit.

overall it plays better than other nrs titles, but know that my observations are from the older beta build with only 5 characters
