I'm trying to get Armored Core Nexus to run, but it seems to have problems everywhere. Is it actually compatible?

city of heroes.

I don't emulate because I'm not a casual digicuck zoomer

>checking my EPSXE dir for snapshots
>the only thing inside the snaps directory is a file called "kill.me"
Hahaha but seriously can anyone recommend a better PSX emulator

Attached: 1269491506461.jpg (600x600, 55K)

nothing on ps2 because the emulator blows.
been playing fire emblem fates though, citra is great

Ignore shitposting

Persona 3 FES with the controllable party member patch.

I like Xebra more, it runs things I couldn't get to run with epsxe on any version, don't need to fight with plugins between games either.

I spilled so many sperm thanks to this game.

I try to ignore emunigger threads but retarded mods don't delete them

Does Haunting Ground actually emulate well? Not too long ago I tried to play it legit on my PS2, but apparently my disc is borked.

Faggot

Ignore shitposting
mednafen is pretty reddit but works great

Just use mednafen or Retroarch Beetle.

I haven't attempted N64 emulation in like a decade, are Rare's platformers possible to emulate properly yet?

Mednafan through retroarch

Just finishing a hard mode playthrough of P3FES. Only a little weird when handling certain textures but otherwise works perfectly.

It does

Yeah though you have to do a texture offset fix to align the overlay and there's a line in the menu that you can't get rid of far as I can tell
There's a 60fps patch that is really nice except it makes a lot of animations play at 50% speed which is not worth it

the everloving fuck out of gran turismo 3

beginner is 80% done
amateur is like 60%
and im just cracking open pro

way of the samurai

Weren't they? I played Banjo Kazooie and Tooie like in 2012, using project64.

i fuking broke my xbox 360 emulating BT3

Attached: pyro.gif (203x199, 443K)

I'd rather be a faggot than deal with marin karin spam

Reflections were broken when viewed at certain angles when I last played it.
Not sure if there is a way to fix it?

I was emulating GT3 a couple of weeks ago too.
By the way, NTSC, or PAL soundtrack?
youtube.com/watch?v=W8ExoJXB8G0

never emulated it but according to the pcsx2 wiki it should run well enough

Is that because the 360 doesn't have a ps2 emulator?

SKate 3 non-stop

If you go higher than 4:3 aspect ratio resolutions it breaks reflections I think

SHE'S MY HEAAAVEEEEN
SHE'S A SPARK

YEAHYEAH

NTSC

youtube.com/watch?v=rwdaPMKJ-6k

Mario Sunshine also fuck the sandbird

i had PS2 back in the day but i only ever really played the same few games.

dark cloud
FFX
GTA 3/VC/SA
twisted metal black
GT3/GT4

what good games did i miss?

How is the Special Stages' performance? I get massive slowdowns in those, otherwise it plays fine.

a shit ton my dude

Persona 3

how big of a hard drive do I need to store all of these?

I just googled pcsx2 for an image

if you go for the exclusives only I'd say about 600 gigs

These charts always seem like a compendium of the most popular games + some interesting ones, instead of legit recommendations.

PowerSlave for the Sega Saturn

I'm not even sure what you're trying to say

?

Exactly what I said. Why the fuck would you recommend Clock Tower 3, for instance? it's like when you go to Yea Forums's recommended games wiki and there's a fucking Lego game in there.

because it's a fun game?

>this list doesnt cater completely to my tastes so it's bad
it's meant as a starting point, my dude, and btw some of the lego games on ps2 are fun as hell. if that's not your cup of tea then you can just not play it?

It's one of the weakest horror titles on the system.

lol? dude how self absorbed can you be

Agreed, and Pandora Tomorrow is also dead weight when you've got Chaos Theory

Mother 3

Fine, make a more uh objectively good list and we'll start posting that one instead

>Clock Tower 3
>fun

Attached: ff.jpg (225x225, 4K)

>playing video games for fun

Should I download the latest stable version of PCSX2 or download one of the newest dev 1.5 versions?

I started with the former and things started working much better once I did the latter

>These charts always seem like a compendium of the most popular games + some interesting ones
it's about naming as much games as you can for every genre
so yeah, some categories get flooded with trash that should never be on a suggestion list, same shit with the PC chart

I can't run Sunshine on android at playable speeds even at low resolutions, is my phone too weak or is dolphin not good on android? I have an essential phone and i can run Portable Ops at 1080p/60FPS(hack) with slowdowns only on certain parts
Any tips for dolphin on android?

Latter is supposed to be more unstable, but it's got mipmapping and some other tricks that make playable games that were unplayable a few years ago.

I kept seeing bring posted on here and I ended being surprised that dos emulation on Android is almost as user-friendly as GBA,DS,SNES, ect.

Always dev builds.
The problem is mobile GPU drivers are total shit.

Castlevania 64 isnt as bad as people say
also fuck texture filtering

Ignore shitposting.
>ZSNES

what game

+ Ape Escape 3
+ Ape Escape 2
+ Tokobot
+ Bloody Road 3
+ Dark Cloud 2
+ Super Monkey Ball Deluxe

why is there no Ribbit King or Dragon Quarter

Baroque.
Google reverse image search is good for this, btw.

sonic 3 complete
already played 3&k but it's fun to mess with the extra settings in the romhack

Baroque, it's a weird as hell remake of a Saturn game
Also one of the few full 3D action roguelikes
Surreal, depressing and more fucked up than Silent Hill

What exactly is Freemcboot? I'm pretty clueless about this sort of stuff

It's a softmod you put on your memory stick. It works on like 90% of PS2s, so unless you got yours really, really late it'll work

THE KING OF EMULATORS

youtube.com/watch?v=Jq7_6R_cvgw

I have a slim called 90002, would it work on that?

If there's any Gundam fans here, get MS Saga a New Dawn.
youtube.com/watch?v=81MGBHot9UY

Hate to say this but 90K+ slim PS2s must be chipped

Time to go find an older PS2 then

Yakuza Dead Souls on RPCS3. Most recent build brings some pretty good frame rate improvements out in Kamurocho, where the emulator was struggling the most before. Unfortunately it also added this weird tearing/artifacting on any moving objects in view.
