CRINGED!

OME NO BAN DA, GOHAN

I bet you don't even get it.

That's the Super Butoden 2 opening cutscene right?

Yes

A shame the composer for those games and the PS2 DBZ games was a plagiarizer. I can see now why the music was actually pretty catchy when hearing the original songs.

CHA LA HEAD CHA LA

Seriously why isn't Goku in Smash yet?

No manga characters allowed

He's an anime character

>is underage and the only source of identity is repeating the buzzwords without any knowledge of what people are even talking about
>sits on its ass fishing for fpbs-s but is only despised

Cringe

The whole "plagiarism" thing was super exaggerated. Only a small portion of his songs have melodies that sound similar (not even 1:1) to other works, but anyway Yamamoto's strenght was the arrangements, and his skill as a music engineer, he made the music sound good on a technical level using samples and synths, it's not all just about the music notes.
To give another example, Yuzo Koshiro is "guilty" of the same, in fact, many of Yuzo's popular music in Streets of Rage is actually copied 1:1 from famous 80s house and techno tracks, but Sega didn't went full retard and retrieve all the music from the original games like Bandai did. Then again, the whole situation was weird, because Yamamoto himself sort of "came out" and confessed that he's been plagiarizing... but again, I don't even think he even stole that much, and I admire the guy's talent regardless as a producer and arranger.

He adds some extra parts here and there, but the main melody is always pirated.

I don't know. there's valid evidence over numerous titles (not just DBKai) dating as far back as 1991.

I won't deny that he's an excellent arranger but it's pretty clear the dude is guilty as sin for a large portion of his arrangements.

That being said I still like to listen to his tracks and Super Butoden 3 has an excellent fighting game OST (even if a few of the songs are obviously plagiarized).

*plagiarized

cringe. kys

This is Pedro's game.

speaking of plagarism

it's a silly promotional anime for a card game. i wouldn't take it too seriously.

i wish they quit making every new villain look like Pretty Cure villain dropouts

>always
All of his tracks? I don't think so. Anyway I'm mostly familiar with his old works (the SNES/PS1 games) and his work on Project Monolith for the Hit Collection CD series.
I mean, I'm not trying to defend him but again, I see it from another perspective. Again, Yuzo Koshiro did literally the same thing but nobody made a big scandal out of it.

So what I'm even looking at?

We just need El Hermano for this to become a masterpiece

What's that on the bottom? Because they look like goku and a kai, a design which has existed since the 80's.

Is it really when he made both? You could've chosen one of the countless traces he's done of the original manga and movies.

>can't handle the bantz
sasuga zoomers

its that villain the author of the DBS manga drawn ages ago
Zaiko and Lila, that kai that raped(?) Goku, think

I'm just speaking from what I've heard (Budokai games and Kai), but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed he can't even read sheet music.

Perhaps because Streets of Rage is not of equivalent scale to the Dragonball IP and it spans over more than just videogames but across all DB media?

Dragon ball AF

was he sued?

Dragon Ball AF, right is West Supreme Kai and left is Xicor made by her with Goku's DNA.

too bad he jobbed to crystal cunny

>but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed he can't even read sheet music.
Really? Not that that'd mean anything though, since there's plenty great artists that make good, creative music and can't read sheet music, but I somehow doubt it about Yamamoto, maybe I'm wrong.
Probably true, also because Yamamoto himself was the one that made a huge deal about it, people has been pointing out Yuzo's "borrowed" compositions but I don't think he ever adsressed it anywhere.

No, he auto-boycotted himself and admitted it out of the blue.
My personal theory is that he was burnt out of making DB music for 20+ years and wanted a reason to take a break. Kinda extreme but it'd be japanese-style.

I'm not sure, but the whole scandal killed the score for Kai and future db games. Later prints of RB 2 for example overwrote the actual ost with ones from the western release of Tenkaichi just like the Budokai HD collection.

The Super Butoden 2 port on 3DS that was included with Extreme Butoden for pre-orders also has a different OST, which is a sin considering how legendary SB2's OST is.

So he might have based Zamasu on an idea he already had? That's not plagiarism.

Sucks too because they could've ended the original DBKai with his current OST but instead they replaced all of his tracks with all the old ones from the original anime which killed the mood created by the Kai OST in my opinion during the time it was airing.

Current being at the time of airing that is. The ending of the Cell Games felt clunky for me as a result.

Anyone played the Super Gokuden games?
They're sort of hidden gems and also have good OSTs similar to other DB games of the era. In fact, some of the music was later re-used in fighting games.

Goku will never get in Smash.
Dragon Ball is a good series that Toriyama sent to shit as soon as DBZ became a thing.

i hate how this thread is going to attract trolling rosterfaggots

Z is kino though.

Attached: dbz10-02.jpg (640x480, 58K)

If you're retarded maybe.

>Calling anyone else an identity lacking zombie despite being a capeshit loving basedlent drinking manchild
Uh... yikes...

He's right though, you seem incapable of communicating without memespeak. Your mind has been taken over by memes.

That's the only version I've played so I never noticed. Where'd they get the new tracks from?

Oooomenonebanda, Gohan ! It's nicely done.

Nah but I remember playing the card based ones on NES via fan tranlsations.

What's retarded is disregarding the entirety of Z because "muh long battles". Yes, they did a lot of stretching and filler because Toriyama could barely keep up with the anime production, so they had to wait until Toriyama put out new chapters before moving on, but Toriyama didn't ruin DB because the manga was still good and had no filler.
The anime is a mixed bag (as you'd expect from long-running TV series), but it has really great moments that were faithfully recreated from the manga. If you're telling me you didn't enjoy the first Goku vs Vegeta fight in the anime (with the original japanese OST, not the american one), you're retarded.
That said, I also enjoyed some of the off the wall filler, like Gohan's adventures before training with Piccolo (some really kino moments there), or Goku dancing tango with the snake qt. Not to mention the episode Goku and Piccolo got get the driving license.

Attached: dbz14-11.jpg (640x480, 59K)

I'm not sure, I'd assume they were newly composed tracks, if you have the game you can probably check who's the music composer on the game credits. Unless they left the old ending credits with Yamamoto's name.

Until recently I had no idea about Koshiro's practices and found it devastating. I genuinely thought the guy was a great composer but he didn't compose shit and his recent gigs were iPod-on-shuffle levels of horrendous.
I looked up to him, it was a terrible betrayal.

DB Legends PS1 had the GOAT OST.

Is there a way to see the credits from the start menu?

And to this day there's not a single rip of this new SB2 ost on the internet.

Koshiro is actually WAY worse than Yamamoto.

oh shit, my buddy bought the japanese cart and we struggled for weeks to understand how to beat the first battle, possibly the tutorial. I had no idea there was a translation, sweet.

Too bad those "kino moments" are few and far between the drawn out "5 minutes" fight scenes.

I think DBKai did a good job cutting the fat out of those fights though it did come at a cost in some situations.

Also for those who were fans of the original dub, they were treated with a far better script than what Funimation came up with in years' past and much more experienced voice actors who built themselves up after years of voicing video games and alternative material.

That being said, I'm not a fan of current Funimation after the Broly movie scandal and I hope they get what's coming to them with the lawsuits. Especially so after the new bluray kickstarter fiasco.

If you're thinking the problems lies with the fucking filler of the tv series, then you confirmed you ARE fucking retarded. A cool series about adventure turned to shit as soon as it became a screaming contest of who could turn their hair yellow first. Characterization? Fuck is that? Here's Goku training to fight the next big bad faggot, enjoy it you stupid cunt.

It's a shame really, I didn't think Goku, Krillin and Bulma's voice actors were such asses in real life. I knew Goku's voice actor was bad but not this bad.

It's Nu-Bulma fyi. I don't think original Bulma's VA has taken a stance on anything regarding the scandal.

Any case, whoever's in charge of current Funimation needs to be out of a job for all the recent scandals as well as the trend of inserting political agenda comments in the "localization" of recent anime such as Prison School, Maid Dragon and Hajimete no Gal.

Vegeta, user not Krillin, that dude hasn't said anything to my knowledge, hopefully if there's any justice all three will be killed at cons

USA just got very weird situations with Z, starting from the change of OST
>A cool series about adventure turned to shit as soon as it became a screaming contest of who could turn their hair yellow first. Characterization? Fuck is that? Here's Goku training to fight the next big bad faggot, enjoy it you stupid cunt.
It definitely became more fight-centric, but it still has adventure, such as the DB hunting in Namek, or the time traveling shenanigans in androids/cell saga.
Boo saga has a lot of fun moments too, especially at the beginning with Goten and Trunks and the 25th tenkaichi.

He was a jerk before the Broly thing too, as history would tell.

He was responsible for blocking Peter Kelamis from attending Kamehacon last year (similar to the word going around that Sabat was threatening not going to Kamehacon if Vic was to go).

Attached: peterkelamisgoku.jpg (627x728, 120K)

That was also by Yamamoto. Great soundtrack, and Legends, while very weird, is still the best 5th gen DBZ game.
Can't believe how badly they fucked up with the 2D fighters Ultimate Battle 22 and Shin Butoden after the great games on SNES.

Peter Kelamis is the best.

It definitely felt like they were phoning it in with those games. Hyper Dimension was the last good one for the fighting games until Budokai IMO.

Even Final Bout felt like a kusoge.

Is there a tldr version of this drama you guys are discussing?

Yeah faggot I fucking get it, but it's still cringe wanna cry more animefaggot?

same with you retard.

Attached: 1554584734462.jpg (500x494, 59K)

Redpill me on this.

tl;dr vic mignona was chased out of funimation for completely false claims of sexual harassment, is now counter-suing funimation for defamation because he actually knows his shit

>If you're telling me you didn't enjoy the first Goku vs Vegeta fight in the anime (with the original japanese OST, not the american one), you're retarded.
I never actually saw that fight outside of games and flashbacks becuase of all the dubbing bullshit with funi. Coming back to it, it just seems mediocre, maybe I just can't take Vegeta as an actual villain seriously.

The short end, also pic related is one of their pieces of evidence against him.

where's the dosis?

Interestingly, he predicted his own fate in 2016.

Wait, I thought if a woman said a man did something it was automatically 100% true and you couldn't fight back

lmao boi got #MeToo'd

The saddest thing was there's a video recording days before the accusations came out of her being friendly with Vic as if they were actual friends.

The shoe is also on the other foot as one of Monica Rial's inner circle of friends has been leaking RIal's stories and evidence of the jelly bean before she came open to the public with it to an internet lawyer on youtube going by the name Nick Rekieta and now she's getting backstabbed by one of her "best friends" similar to what she did to Vic.

>a Sony executive
>Sony
Goddammit!

Broly voice actor has been doing his Joe Biden impression at conventions

Funimation has distanced themselves from him because America is a democratic-republic meritocracy. Why would any modern american(see liberal) business not distance themselves from a person of low-merit

The far right SJW's are now upset because Trump won, so did Kavanaugh, and Roy Moore also almost won, so then why shouldn't vic.

...

>Yeah faggot I fucking get it
yeah right

>low merit
He never did so without having permission or the said fans asking for it.

He's also a devout Christian. Recent Funimation is filled with incredible libtards and it appears alot of the VAs are potentially jealous of his success with the Broly Movie even if his role is mostly just screaming for most of the movie.

I honestly lost respect for Sean at this point.

You didn't when a couple of years ago he threw a bitch fit over his Goku Black voice?

It's a good thing he actually submitted to the criticism before he had to do the role for DBS because his original incarnation of the role in Xenoverse 2 was terrible and out of character for Goku Black.

>the USA fans got cucked not only with the OST but with the voice actors as well
I feel you, ameribros.

Attached: dbzsfc.jpg (400x287, 38K)

3DS release is missing the Japanese voices? Heresy.

I mean the TV series

Attached: 1548103881641.png (434x327, 55K)

I'm not defending that nasty impression, but the contrast in dialect was one of the major characteristics that made Black feel the same but different and it's lost in the dub. I don't see how anyone could prefer it.

I wouldn't say I prefer it, but it's much better than the original rendition in Xenoverse 2 since it feels more like Zamasu now.

Of course Nozawa's Black is far superior.
