yea, good combat and less grinding
Op, i really liked stick of truth and i just finished the game. Should i get fractured but whole? Will i like it?
It's great, only downside is the lack of side quests and no Canada.
Is the combat element as much fun?
No
dont listen to op
the combat system is shit.
go look at the steam reviews and safe yourself from dissapointment store.steampowered.com
The combat is completely different and not as fun imo. Weakest part of the game I loved Stick of Truth but couldn't even finish the new one
>unironically liking a south park game above the age of 12
Letting you choose a faction? Better combat? A better gimmick? Soul?
The only thing Stick of Truth needed was a more challenging late game.
How did they fuck everything up with the sequel, the foundation was right there
I honestly enjoyed the game play of this game over stick of truth, but it suffers in modern south park writing where the plot and dialogue is such a drag.
It holds your hand way too much.
It will just tell you how to solve the puzzles or that you can't solve the puzzles yet.
>wait an entire fucking year after the games release date was pushed back
>torrent game
>never even fucking install it because i saw the ending and it was so bad it made me not want to play it ever.
I’m sorry the humor is too crude for a mature and refined gamer such as yourself
>Buy at launch
>Game breaking bug stops all progression
>no fix in sight
Did the Mitch Connor patio bug ever get fixed
I played stick of truth at launch and then when fractured but whole came out I played it, SoT and then FBW once again all in a row. Not even a huge south park fan (loved the movie but that's a different story) but something about the world sucked me in.
As for what FBW's missing, it's probably the setting. in Stick it still ultimately felt like you were a bunch of kids playing a game that went off the rails but in Fractured kinda lost that and it was like you were a bunch of child superheroes instead of kids pretending to be them. Not sure I'm describing it well but just as an example something about Jimmy actually being able to work as your fast travel breaks the immersion.
Doesn't help that the combat isn't nearly as fun as the paper mario ripoff Stick had.
abusing status effects was the most funniest thing in stick of truth
with the jew class and some perks you can debuff everything with defense down and x4 bleeding
not really but it isn't absolute dogshit. I'm sure someone will say that it's too easy to break it with Call Girl's moveset in general but then again in Stick of Truth you could break that game in a heartbeat with burn/bleed stacks.
first game was made by obsidian second by ubisoft san fran.
The fantasy setting just works way better for an RPG than superheroes.
If anything, this game's music is the best part about it

>More polished
Everything about it is worse
It's tactics and grid based, I liked it better than just the typical turn based RPG style.
