The people who have played the demo have said that it plays pretty well, so I have some hope. Even then, it did get delayed because the devs wanted to polish it more. So far the bosses haven't been anything too impressive, but I do like the mechanics we know about so far. Remind me a bit of Dragon's Dogma.

Haven't finished Sekiro yet (I'm at a part where the Ashina Castle got invaded by those ninja dudes) but I'm not finding its gameplay to be THAT good. It's really good, but not "good enough to ruin other games" good.

Ah, I see. I would agree. Though I think Sekiro is a great game, I do like Dark Souls a bit more still. Code Vein has enough different mechanics to make it not a complete clone.

I don't like the post-apocalytic city setting as I didn't like it either in Darksiders.

Only the giant weapons feel clunky. Movement and fast weapons looked pretty good in the last gameplay they showed.
