I use the cheat engine to speed up gameplay of FTL when the enemy layout enables me to grind weapon, engine, steering, and shield skills. It's not cheating -the game is telling me to waste literal hours doing nothing to get the same affect. Getting 30 lives in what presumably is a side-scroller is straight up faggotry.
