you could bge clever with it merge some of the objects together, like make the pupils for wario's eyes and his mustache all one piece for example (since it counts based on the number of objects, their size barely matters); also, try to make straight lines whenever possible using the grid, as curved and imperfect lines cost far more.

That said, I agree that 2 bumpers is enough anyway, it's a small stage.

Third, the Switch itself is about 300 but then there's the cost of the game, and the online, and the other stuff I'll need like a screen protector and a carrying case. So it's closer to 450.

And fourth, I've been paying off a debt that wasn't even my fault for the better part of the new 10's (tldr; my mom racked up debt in my name and then died without even bothering to tell me) and I only just made the final payment in March. Worked pretty hard getting Robotnik to look decent at such a small size. If you draw things really big and then scale them down you can get more detail than you'd otherwise be able to.

You can make a super cheap DIY stylus all you need is a pencil that has a rubber(eraser for you chaps across the pond) rub it down till you have a nice rounded edge like the stylus this guy posted then simply wrap it as tightly as you can with only 1 layer of aluminium foil over the rubber and far enough up the pencil that your fingers touch it when you are holding it and you are done it is probably not as good as a proper stylus but it is much better than using your finger.
