Why the hate Yea Forums?
A lot of shit taste out there.
Ah, the days when O MY BLOOD PACTS was the dumbest writing in the series. How times change.
I haven't seen Micaiah or her game get much hate, especially since Fates absorbs the majority of it.
I like her, but it was pretty mean of Ike to just steal the role of protag in the middle of her game
FE10 is my favourite in the series. It's a shame Micaiah's outfit gets worse with each promotion though and she ends up losing her personality to just being a vessel for Yune basically.
I hope her Brave version will have a slutty outfit for more slutty fanart.
I'm with you.
Dem's some fine ass tits. Where to find good lewds of her?
35% speed growth, and less durability than a wet paper bag.
Why would they make her so weak and fragile? She was a direct successor to Ike who's possibly the strongest lord in the series stat wise and shes just the fragile, weak thing. What were they thinking?
she's a female magic user. Of course she's going to be made of glass
I hope this too.
She's a terrible character, both in the story and in actual gameplay.
Trying to think of a counter example, maybe Niime but I never used her, Calill and Tharja could take a few attacks too I guess, especially if Tharja was given nos.
The problem is that the game's logic bends over backwards for her just because it doesn't want to acknowledge that the country she's so obsessively loyal to has done a lot lif evil shit.
It constantly acknowledges that Daein were shit in oth PoR and RD, just RD has the Begnion senate being more evil
It never does, hell in Crimea it has the residents claiming that "Ashnard wasn't so bad" despite him ordering the massacre of civilians in Crimea. It ignores the fact that Daein army actually were the ones who caused the most damage to Daein itself, not Begnion. Heck if anything they were trying to switch the positions of Begnion and Daein in the narrative, as Daein is the story that literally got its start because the people didn't like ther idea of Laguz being able to read.
Micciah also never acknowledges nor is she called out for blaiming other countries despite the fact that Daein's current situation was created by Daein's actions.
in 3-6 Sothe says how they've turned from freedom fighters to bigtots, Nolan consoles Micaiah about fighting a war she doesn't believe in, the face Daeins do acknoewledge they're in the wrong, they're just doing it because the only other option is abandoning their "family"/friends.
Tanith/Sanaki do talk down about Daein, and Micaiah's tacitcs, but the alliance's main goal is to get Dain back out the war so they can return to facing their main opponents, the senate.
Also I don't remember anybody saying Ashnard wasn't that bad in Crimea.
That's exactly what I'm talking about that's there to make Daein's situation appear pitiable in RD. And that in no way is an example of them acknowledging the shit that Daein pulled in the past which caused their situation to be that bad to begin with.
The alliance didn't really care about Daein they felt sorry for them but that saw them as an army that they needed to deal with.
It's an info conversation after the Laguz Alliance goes to Crimea.
As in the "we know what we're getting with with fellow humans"
That wasn't an Ashnard isn't so bad, that was a anybody but subhumans.
As for it being their fault, I can't think of any country except Germany post WW2 that has acknowledged responsibility for a war.
Also after losing their last war they would be pitiable, that's true with most countries
She's a very boring character despite having a ton of super special powers.
She becomes a general only a few chapters into the game despite not having done anything to earn, unlike Ike who spent half the game fighting on Elincia's behalf before he became the general of Crimea's army.
I really couldn't bring myself to care about Micaiah, Sothe, or the rest of their band, especially once Ike and friends show up in Part 2.
There's a lot of tales about the Dawn brigade before the game even starts, along with the Begnion occupation troops at the beginning being after the silver haired fortune teller, on top of that Izuka and Sothe even outright say that she's a figurehead general.
On top of that Daein's army are actively fighting from the start, Ike and Elincia spend the first half of the game trying to flee to Begnion to get their assistance.
Not saying she's special or interesting or anything, just that there's clear reasons for her being appointed general significantly earlier than Ike was
No they that he wasn't that bad. The problem is that they shouldn't be treated as pitiable for losing the war. They should see themselves as pitiable but the surrounding countries should not.
Also Japan acknowledged or was forced to acknowledge their many crimes during WWII. It's just that they are ignorant Xenophobic nips that are in severe denial about it. It's not actually rare for countries to acknowledge their wrong doing after they lose a war, or sometimes even when they win it. Look at USA and Hawaii or America and its Japanese citizens.
In the case of Germany the allies made sure that the German people were made aware of why they were being punished. And then actively sought out and executed members of the Nazi party.
