You never played an MMO

I've never jerked off to gay porn either; what's your point?

Ur a fag

Mouses with built in numpads on the side should be the standard, I often finding myself thinking that I need more buttons to press.

I use all 12 and alt+1-12 on ffxiv you're retarded

MMOs, Space sims, MOBAs

I played WoW professionally and those mice were considered a "casual filter", more than 2 side buttons bound is literal retardation, we would've laughed at you and automatically reject your application if you used that mouse.

>dragon

How do you rationalize buying this, using it, and not blocking the doorway with your hanged corpse?

2 buttons is too few
10 buttons is too retarded
are there any good mice with like 4-5 buttons?

Fuck you, I use the top three rows in nearly every game. There are so many fucking important secondary and tertiary actions you can bind to something that allows you to never take your fingers off of WASD nor have to reach beyond the keys immediately surrounding them.
Not just MOBAs or MMOs, but even the simplest action games.

I use them for shit like volume control or hotkeys, I dont game

Microsoft Intellimouse?

Your thumb is your slowest and least mobile finger, not only you're fucking your wrist in the long run, you're also slower and less accurate than if you had, for example, the F, R, C, V, T keys bound, even if you have to stop pressing wasd for a sec, it's much faster, specially if you have to spam a key, thumb is very bad at spamming.

I do, not all of them all the time, but they're handy. Still not worth it though, I just happened to get a deal on this.

they were $15 so whatever. at least they held up better than my last mouse

Attached: 81Gepr-sTpL._SX466_.jpg (466x363, 15K)

Idk i thought they were pretty useful to use in ff:rr when i played 4 years ago
Now i just use them to spam voice commands in TF2

When I was playing mmos in a hardcore way I was using a WMO.

Hence why I said only secondary and tertiary actions. I'm not using them for shit like aiming or frequent actions that would require rapid presses; only things like cycling weapons, using skills/tools like grenades and interactions that are only required to be pressed once in certain instances like a melee attack in a shooter.

Also, it is far more important to have my fingers on moving at all times. For example, I never ever have to move my hands off of SHIFT WASD Space in Quake because the usual cluster of weapon selection surrounding them are on the top two rows of the mouse numpad.
Rocket - Rail - Lightning
MG - SG - GL
The same goes for basicly any other FPS in the past two decades with all of their skills and multiple grenade buttons and whatever else.

No fucking way am I somehow going to be "faster" if I had something bound to T, no matter what it is bound to. Taking my index finger off of D and going any further than the ERF keys is detrimental.

When I was playing quake in a hardcore way I was using a WMO too.

i want real buttons not this fucking 90s phone bullshit.
Why cant I get a 20 button mouse with positional buttons not meme phone buttons?

Attached: mousesettings1.jpg (2967x714, 572K)

I had like 30-40 keybinds in wow - I would've loved to have those extra buttons but since I play cutesy shit or autism shit so I don't need as many buttons anymore

Learning is hard

It takes less for your index finger to make three presses of D, F, D than your thumb to simply press a side button, it's a shit finger for button presses, that's why the spacebar is here and not in the middle of the keyboard, thumbs can't move that much.
Anyway you're stupid, and just because you get "used to it" doesn't mean it's good or optimal.
Pls don't reply to this post I don't wanna talk with literal mongoloids/underages.

Really useful in siege to have lean on the side buttons and also the secondary gadgets and mic button. desu I use maybe half the buttons but as other anons say this is incredibly useful for MMO's

I usually only need a few buttons, having an entire numpad on a mouse is overkill for me

If you don't use your side buttons to change and close tabs then get the fuck out of here.

When I was playing a number of shooters in CAL-P and CPL in the 2000s, I had a generic Dell mouse and then an MX518, but I would have loved to have one of these "MMO mice" back then. Also wish I had a mechanical keyboard back then as some games were requiring me to be pressing three or more keys at once and virtually no binding setup would avoid the key rollover, making them nigh impossible unless I bound certain actions to the mouse.

No it doesn't. My thumb doesn't have to travel at all; I can roll it to hit any of the top six buttons which doesn't disturb my grip on the mouse at all. My index finger on the other hand has to leave a critical input to press something else, even if it is for a fraction of a second.
I didn't say anything about "getting used to it", don't put words in my mouth because you don't have an argument. I will however say it is objectively better because it is objectively better and optimal.
Pros stick to the Zowie nowadays because it's light, has no drivers as fuck and has the best sensor. Put out something the likes of the G600 with less weight, a driverless default binding to the numpad inputs, and the most recent pixart sensor, it would have a not-insignificant presence.

Those are good for MMOs but I reckon it's much better with only two side buttons.

Didn't I tell you not to reply to me, zoomer?
Clickers in WoW also justified their practices and said it was "as good", guess what none of them ever managed to do anything, same for retarded side buttons users, more than 2 is overkill.

I have two I usually use for something like courching and melee.

my mouse has 18 buttons on the side cant use half of them because its so awkward to get my thumb to them

Have this mouse
>only use two of the buttons on the left side 90% of the time
>slap some macros on the other buttons on the rare occasion
>use the button on the right for push-to-talk

I've never seen an actual try hard use this shit.

no its fucking clunky
i need them for reasons like said
i dont need a million identical buttons smooshed together
i need to be able to freely move my hand around my mouse not worry about moving my thumb 1mm and pressing 6 buttons.
taking your fingers off movement keys to cast shit is suicide and leaves you standing still and easily read.
I want to tilt my fingers or slide it slightly and get a press not this thumb tater mashin' atrocity on your boomer phone.

Attached: boomerphone.jpg (769x419, 32K)

Cause anyone who has played an MMO at a decent-high level knows people who used those we laughed upon the same way as clickers. It's like a toy for fucking kids without any real use.

>we would've laughed at you
>I played WoW professionally

Attached: 1239208371922.jpg (614x455, 41K)

Yeah that's why people even changed the movement layout for some games to ESDF, because having keys near your movement keys is so uncomfortable and hard to do...
Fucking zoomers man.

>he doesnt grow his nails extra long to push the diagonal keys while keeping your fingers on wasd

I use most of them, usually in games i rebind the interact button with one of them because i think it feels better that way, then use the others for weapon switches or warframe abilities and gear slots. Sure most of the time i have some left over but I'd rather have too many keys than not enough

No, but I used to use this religiously.
Lemme gush about this technological masterpiece right here.

Disregaring the actual mouse, the RAT7 mouse thumb wheel is the best goddam innovation I've ever seen in a mouse.
>wheel forward/back for programmable inputs
>insanely good for spamming keys at a tactile level
>b hop troubles? spam jump to both rotations and wiggle that fucker
>knocked down, monster aggro and you need to dodge right the fuck now? bind dodge to the wheel and wiggle that fucker for frame perfect wakeup dodge
>laggy ass clunky ass game eating your skill inputs? wheel macros. if it doesn't register the first time how bout the next 50 times with one turn of the wheel

Sure, you could argue that you can simply program a macro to do the same thing and bind it to a key, but you're missing the goddam point. The wheel is a button masher macro that you can PHYSICALLY control. You can control how fast you're rotating the wheel, ergo how fast you want to mash the button you bound to the wheel. The freedom of control the wheel offers is a ton more than a simple "press x button until toggle every y milliseconds", and you don't have to reach for a button to activate/deactivate either. It's honestly fucking amazing and I would have kept using the RAT7 if everything about the mouse except for the wheel wasn't so shit.

I have this mouse and it's too fucking small for me, especially since I hold mice like B in pic related.
Corsair Glaive is big and comfy and suited for my grip though so I use that for everything other than MMOs.

Why would anyone want a mouse with a built in phone?

Attached: twilight-zone-the-movie-gif.gif (500x279, 984K)

yeah, I thought it would be bigger too, but I have pretty standard hands so it's fine for me. Being able to slide the numpad around is nice though.

So you can dial-a-combo.

You know what he meant. He obviously uses the buttons for ability keybinds. Though, I find it hard to believe that you don’t actually smack it to GAY pr0n. Especially because you sound like such an immense FAGGOT. Either way, kill yourself, you fuckin waste of oxygen.

any other mice with something similar? you've shilled me on the concept

I have common browser shortcuts on mine.

I use all 6*30 gesture buttons on my logitech, X mouse button control software for autoclick on top of that for maximum power

Attached: gesture.jpg (1408x515, 67K)

It's the most accurate mouse I've ever used though, user.
It fits my hand really well, and I haven't had any cramps in the wrist
Plus it's really nice to press the DPI switches

Attached: 111111_3.jpg (1000x617, 66K)

But I do, they're great for browsing porn sites one-handed and never having to put my other hand above the desk.

FFXIV is uplayable without one of these or a controller.

Why are there so many variations of that mouse? This is the 5th I'm seeing, they all look the same, except for the logo.

I use all of mine and I don't even play mmos

There are small differences, mostly in the buttons.
This one came from a German manufacturer, is recently made and it was going for around £30 on Amazon with good reviews compared to the others on offer

Attached: 1501993404527.gif (500x281, 537K)

It's the same fucking mouse

Attached: 20190421_144027.jpg (576x1032, 103K)

Mousekino coming through.

>You will never go back and play WoW pre-WoD when classes actually had tons of abilities and gaming mice were great for more binds

Attached: cried alot.jpg (1920x1080, 383K)

it really is the exact same, what the fuck
How much was yours?

Not them, but mouses have molds for each that are used as the basis of creating them. Most of the time you see an Chinese ripoff electronic that will attempt to create their own replica mold and then pawn the terrible product off as legit. Sometimes they legit get/steal/etc. the actual real mold and use them to pawn off their shit and which makes it extremely difficult to notice the difference. Also, obviously, the original mold can obviously be bought by other companies who want to use it.

40€

that mouse looks like fucking carpal tunnel city if you actually tried to pvp with someone on the reg in wow and use the mouse as intended..

ESDF was the original layout for Quake and a lot of other shooters back in the day, us zoomers, huh?
