Your mistake was frogposting

It almost was, but this past decade has proven otherwise thankfully. Now you can see devs rage as they gave up making gameplay and now make full CGI movies.
At least Phil Fish made a decent game before having a meltdown.
The funny part is nobody is going to want to say games aren't art now because they'll be directed back to this sad lopping loser.
Artsy videgames contribute nothing to the medium, and deserve to be left to hipsters and the like
Fez was overrated garbage
Seething trannies
YIIK?
More like YIIKES
If a blank canvas can be art, video games damn sure as well can be. Heck anything can be art now.
They are art. If you make a game as "art" and not for entertainment, you fail as a developer. The best art comes from those who want to provoke thought, impress the audience and whatnot. You're not deep by having great graphics and no gameplay, because you may as well make a fucking CGI movie.
310 x 488?
more like 1764 x 2779
Too commercial
>make a lazy turd of a shitpost of a game
>people rightfully call it garbage and don't buy it
>dude wtf why didn't people buy my engrossing modern art? It must be videogames as a whole that are wrong, not me
Fez was shit and the reason he had a "meltdown" was to save face. Everyone started catching on that he's a scumbag.
I don't think it was a shitpost, the dev seemed pretty sincere about what he made. He just can't write for shit. The whole script reads like he never passed it onto someone else to proofread and give him their thoughts.
A white line through a blue canvas.
This is considered art.
That's called Pong you tasteless faggot.
Art auctions are quite literally just used for money laundering.
the art of money laundering?
a copied artwork is just as good as the original
a copied video game is just as good as the original
