Reposting this again. Two platforms that can move when toggled by a switch, but the catch is that it's a switch you'll always hit when recovering, forcing a consistent stage layout change. Works pretty well imo.

That helps, but only for purely horizontal lines, it would be nice if I could move a cursor to precisely place down points for lines of other angles.

I think the small horizontal oval is the ticket to get the left and right motion, but I can't figure out that fast swaying knock to the left and right. When I try rotation, they just spin all the way around.

Go into the gear's settings and try lowering the range so that it rotates back and forth at a smaller angle and stuff

Construct could totally work with the water background. Maybe Epitaph or Guardian could work as stages as well? After I finish the Sonic CD boss and a couple other things, I was thinking of maybe trying to do a Scarab stage myself. Dunno whether to do the Halo 2 or 3 version tho

Hmmm

A horizontal view of High Ground, with the stage going downward toward the beach. The turret gate could work as a safe platform.

Standoff, with both bunkers paralleling each other, while small hills block the middle terrain (maybe Splaser represented in the middle?)

Sandbox would have 3 levels to it: top, midstage (the default map), and bottom. This would work out very nicely.

Any ideas with Orbital would be cool. Like the gap in the middle of the map.

Epitaph would be a walk-off stage with a giant platform above the middle.

Foundry would be fun to play around with. Tons of shipment containers scatter about and shit (Even foundry's custom stages, maybe).

Sandtrap, The Pit, Cold Storage, Isolation are also some fun ideas that would be interesting. Something else to think about over time.

Fug, I meant Construct lol i'm kinda blazed. Narrows would be fantastic to see as well though. One long, slightly curved bridge with maybe portals representing the grav lifts on both sides. An underground platform below the bridge, as well. Maybe hazardous, since you can fall easier.

Reposting from the other thread, Mission 1 from Metal Slug! The Slug is on a rail that moves left and right, and the front of it has a cannon. If you launch an opponent into the turret while the Slug is on the left of the stage it almost always gets you a KO regardless of their damage

I think the issue is more variety, any stage gets tiring if it happens like 3 times in a row.
Problem is at the moment we're still not sure how it decides, if it's glitched or just one person in the lobby is a dumbass. I've been set to Random Custom stages every lobby I've joined. That's like 80 stages I'm bringing to the table and still it seems to gravitate towards repeatedly picking the same stages.
