It will 100% be in but I think you're thinking of a different "reckbomb". Before the kazzak incident it had no cap, that was the issue. What you're seeing in that webm and how it was post kazzak was a cap of 4 extra swings. That's still a big chunk of someone's health or even killing them.
But here is the thing: it's unreliable. In the six months of retail 1.12 vanilla, paladins weren't able to /sit to proc reckoning stacks. In private servers this is bugged, so a paladin can merely /sit and get 4 stacks quickly then keep them until he wants to fuck someone's butt. In classic this would be considerably more annoying to do but still doable, and reckoning would still be a fantastic talent vs melee that are dipshit enough to stick on you.
/sit to proc enrage, reckoning, eye of the storm will not work in classic.

The build is sub optimal for pvp and pvp. You can successfully gank shitters with it though. If you're taking hemo and improved ambush you're taking the slow weapon and dagger rogue builds and not getting the best of either.

Because it takes them out of a fight while keeping you in the fight, it doesn't have a long-ass cast time so it can't be interrupted, and they'll follow you anywhere so you're not bound to one spot where the spell breaks if you make them run too far.

Priest has the best toolset to do that. And you can last hit a lot of mobs to get that sweet mana regen. Demanding that you be a heal spec for lowbie dungeons is like requiring BWL gear for MC runs. It's the weird mindset where everyone has to overgear the content and min/max.

I'm scared to level a Paladin. My (second; first char was a Mage that stopped at 20) character was a Dwarf Paladin. I leveled as Ret and was bored to tears. Maybe it was my noobness? I got to 42 and then went back to Mage and had a great time.
What is the actual strategy and priority with a Paladin? Checking out the talent trees, Ret is steaming garbage. It seems like a Ret gear build with Holy+Prot would make for better leveling.

hybrid classes are much more powerful in vanilla leveling, but with raiding their utility almost entirely drops off. druid hybrids are situationally viable in raids imo, but only one is really needed per raid party.

Downranking Flash of Light with the proper gear and buffs meant that an HPally had infinite mana and couldn't ever over-threat.

A lot of players were sitting around 3k health in battlegrounds at level 60. Players with gear from bleeding edge content had like 5-6k. The most I ever saw was a meme-geared gnome prot warrior who geared for stamina and had 10k health with full buffs.

I wanna RP a character that's a complete mary sue to see if I can pull it off and I'm really struggling to pick between male and female nelf druid.

Female would make you more of a Mary Sue because, in lore, there are no female druids.

People who say shadowguard is shit have zero idea what they're talking about.
It procs blackout and crits for 700-800~ in t2.5. It's strong as fuck, counter's rogues/warriors really hard and trolls actually have a better match up vs. paladins because of hex of weakness. Not to mention you'll find an easier time getting a raid slot as shadow since your dps will be slightly better.

Undead priests are the biggest meme because you'll still lose to any half brained warlock in 1v1, so wotf is fucking useless, on top of that there are already a lot less alliance warlocks because half the horde is dindus who think wotf is the best thing in existence (its not orc racial is better). Devouring plage is really good but is literally useless against 25% of the alliance, on top of costing a fuck ton of mana on an already starved mana class.

I've played both undead and troll priest extensively on private servers and I will tell you that troll is 100% better once you have gear, unless you care about sitting outfront of org and dueling all day (and in that case why didn't you just roll a warlock?) then you should go troll.

Post fun or unorthodox/lesser known things you can do with a class, either useful or simply interesting.
I will start:

The ability, "Farsight" lets you move a target reticle thingee and you'll be able to see what's happening at that location. The lesser known part is that it can chain, so you can continuously use it as long as no loading screen, and it lasts long enough that if mana is an issue you'll simply get the mana back anyhow. You could be in winterspring and chain it all the way down the continent to be able to spy on a buddy in gadgetzan if you felt like it.
The useful part comes in when you use it to scout chests, rare mobs, rich thorium, or to find a dude who had ganked you previously. Bay of storms in azshara is a good spot as there are fishing pools that can drop essence of water, rich thoriums, a few chest locations, and a rare mobs.

(it might not be THAT lesser known but i think you get the gist of what i'm going for)

2 minute 20% healing reduction for 35 mana is amazing as well.
I'd say that UD is only a better Spriest race for 1v1 while troll is better for everything else.

For leveling shamans or paladins a druid tank is a great buddy to have. Easy life, no warrior to whine if you roll on 2handers and the druid doesn't want the mail or plate drops.

Far Sight also causes the same visual effect as assaulting a flag in Arathi Basin, meaning it can be used to trick inattentive players into returning to the flag, setting up a druid / rogue to backstab.

Hunters can abuse Eyes of the Beast by taming an extremely low-leveled Beast, naming their new pet the name it had before being tamed, and then while hiding moving their pet slightly on a specific point to act as if it's mob. Low-level players in a rush will attack their pet, flagging them for PvP.

Druid tanks also remove hunters from parties at low-levels, when they don't know how to properly micromanage their pet, and rogues completely, dramatically reducing the chance someone is going to try and ninja loot at the end of a run.

Really though, if you are two other friends are playing together in a voice chat, no matter what your class composition is, you're going to dominate pretty much anything in a PVP setting. Voice communication will be a huge advantage. Three soul link warlocks would basically be unkillable.

Healers suck ass at doing solo content because you're mostly gonna use gear that gives only healing boost, and getting good off-set gear is gonna take a long time, and respeccing to grind money is a bad idea. When it comes to purely grinding money as a healer it's probably gonna be a good idea to either farm dungeons with a group like stratholme living side or by gathering herbs and shit. Holy priests can farm couple trash mobs in dire maul east for easy money too.

Citation heavily needed. In vanilla spells didn't scale past the 100% mark. That would put shadowguard scaling at 300%, which would make it the biggest scaling spell in the game. Even curse of doom, with its 1 min duration, didn't get a coefficient that big (it got increased to 200% in tbc from 100%).

What you're wanting to do is silly in BGs because you won't have enough range to make the spells work. SM/Ruin and NF/CF builds are superior in BGs specifically because they have 36 yard range for their spells. In a duel you can go for a NF/SL or SL/SB because range isn't as important, and even then VW -> Succy or FH is better, Succy for Seduction Lock, FH for anything with a Charm break.

I almost committed suicide in real life because of how unwanted I was as a holy priest on Nostalrius.
Seriously, times have changed. Healers are no longer the beast-of-burden role. For every two DPS that exist, there is one healer and 1/4 of a tank. That's a problem when it comes to forming 5mans. It means that there is more demand for a random DPS than there is for a healer.
For literal WEEKS I tried to run Scholomance, on a server with 8k concurrent population, and every group I saw advertised already had a healer. Every time I tried to start a group, we got a tank 5% of the time, and only got a 3rd DPS 50% of the time.

It's hell. I'm done with priest. I can't take being both utterly helpless as well as utterly replaceable. At least one in a million rogues can do a single quest outside of a city in under an hour.

DPS is now the needed class, because people can't play it well. Also they realized this ages ago that tank and healer meant a guaranteed spot, and they are piss easy to play as. Let me remind you: If you don't have a dedicated group orbiting around you as a tank or healer you are fucked. This also means using guilds as a stepping stone. So basically the guy who was a good healer will sooner or later leave for a better one, so people change and this is the only chance you can get into the "circle". That's it. It's so easy being a warrior. You can have a normal dps levelling spec and just carry around a shield + onehander. If anyone asks then you are a tank. You will always get into any dungeon group even until max level. Talent points aren't necessary until Molten Core.
At its foundation the game is very, very easy. It is honestly strange to imagine that Blizzard managed to make it even more easy, to the point where the game essentially plays itself in BFA. Just goes to show what happens when the "suits" take over a game company. It's all about that lowest common denominator.

People who were 12 when Cataclysm came out are 22 now.

For people that never experienced it, I'd still recommend it. There's a feeling of accomplishment all throughout vanilla. Every piece of gear feels like a signifiant upgrade, every dungeon you complete feels like an accomplishment and you actually have to find people on your server to do it with yourself. World PVP was perfect and has never been replicated since. The world feels huge and exciting to explore, and no flying means having to actually travel through zones.

If you guys are good at coordinating then go 3 elemental shamans and you will faceroll to rank 14, alliance premades gets btfo by good shamans

The existence of paladins simply lowers the skill floor for alliance players by a metric fuckton, both in pvp and pve. If you want to succeed at the game, whatever that may mean for you, it's more likely if you roll ally. It's the path of least resistance.

Oh, and the reason why warriors is easily #1 here while mages are #1 in the other one is because the other one is taken at peak chinese time, while the one I posted is taken at peak EU time. Chinks love farming gold and mages are the best at farming gold, so chinks play mages in massive numbers.

There's presets for the original vanilla shadows, but you can also jack everything up to the modern levels of dynamic shadows and lighting. A lot of it looks fantastic.

Yes. Take a look at the video 1.13.0 client means this is max vanilla settings. They actually did an amazing job recreating it, if you compare it to the private server I was running it's very close. Colors are slightly off.
