The janitors are in the wrong, regardless. The Digimon threads present nothing on their own that break the rules (unless if they invaded with outright full porn pictures to be dumped or something similar). Moderators have always said in the past that so as long the characters are video games and that the pictures don't present any visible intimate part, then there's nothing else to fear. Digimon threads follow well on this criteria, and even so, they still get deleted.
You know what's funny? The fact several off-topic political identity threads such as the Smash ones recently are NOT deleted.

That happens all the time on nu-Yea Forums, mods only delete things that they don't like mostly.
They love e-celebs shit, genre drama and unlimited smash threads for some weird reason.

90% of threads are completely recycled OPs. I'm serious. I've seen all this shit before like it's run by a machine. Maybe not at the same time, but always the same OPs with the same words in them.
Maybe discord raiding isn't as unlikely as I thought it was.

But, is cropped porn actually punishable or not? I ask, because when I took a read on the rules, I couldn't find anything related to cropped porn. That's strange for me, because I could swore the cropped porn detail was detailed on the rules before, but now, it doesn't seems to be in the rules as offensive anymore.
That, and there's this picture here. The mod here clears out what isn't allowed, but notice that he didn't say cropped porn (and that Moot agrees with it).
With theses 2 details to acknowledge, I don't think the threads get deleted because of cropped porn pictures. I just don't understand it: why do the Digimon threads get deleted in the sight? What's with the janitor's apparent bias? I keep thinking, but I can't deduce anything worthy of reason to disallow Digimon threads on Yea Forums.

The problem is that you're assuming the mods are using the same level of rules lawyering that you are right now. Remember that this site is casual in nature, and the mods apply deletions casually and inconsistently.
Cropped porn being deleted means that the mod in question may have been insulted by such a transparent attempt to skate by the rules.
