So I bought some dumbells (25 lb each) to try some shit at home. If I want to trim fat and just become skinny / fat with a little muscle (dont need to be buff boy mchuge), can I just do a large amount of reps with not a lot of weight?

Don't want to have to invest in large amounts of weights and would like to just increase the time I workout with minimal weights. But I'm a retard so not sure if that just means I'll hit a point where I see zero results

I was taught in my high school days to count for technique and form rather than raw weight. Equivalent type stuff, IE 50 reps for bare minimum weight equates to 30 reps of ten more pounds of weight.

You'll have to do a shitload of reps. If you just want to lose fat, stop eating like a porker and go for a 30 minutes jog every day.

Okay that's what I figured. I peaked around 320 LB and I've been hovering around 200-215 for a while now. So lost about 100 points and have kept it off for about 3 years now. It's just the last little bit I'd like to lose, mainly in the chest area. Assuming jogging will help lose that last bit of fat regardless of where it is on your body? Or do I have to do pec exercises exclusively?

you need to start small. go to the gym, no one gives a fuck if you are struggling at low weight since that's SPECIFICALLY why you're going to the gym; to lift heavier weight.
your 25lb dumbbells won't help because

>you can't load them or deload them as you get stronger or weaker.

Make sure your arms go at a 90 degree bend, nothing exact but whatever you feel like is reaching 90. Also, that tends to happen if you don't exercise a lot.

Instead of doing a large amount of reps, do around 12 as slowly as you can (at least 3 seconds on the eccentric portion) and more sets. Diet is the most important when it comes to losing fat though.

Can I just do handstand holds? I have no friends nor any kind of assistance.
