>I show a koopa running around Bob-omb Battlefield. This is a more light-hearted video for April Fool's Day, but released one day early so that more people can watch it live on the weekend.

>A koopa's non-shelled form always fascinated me, because he's not bound by a radius around his home, and so is able to move to seemingly anywhere in the course. Thus, I wanted to see what it would look like to observe a koopa while he's free to run around for hours, e.g. what areas would he tend to stay in and how often would he switch between these areas. This is the result.

>Note that a koopa will actually deactivate once he moves more than 4000 units away from Mario, meaning that he'll turn invisible and stop moving. One way to avoid this is to have Mario stay in close proximity to the koopa during his movement. For this video, I instead hacked the koopa's deactivation radius to be beyond the range of the course, so that I could simply have Mario remain in one place and let the koopa run around unhindered by Mario's static position.

>Before recording this video, I tested out different RNG seeds to see how they would affect the koopa's overall path. For some seeds, his path would come to an abrupt end early on, as he'd fall through the course, fall into a cannon hole, or get stuck in a tight spot turning indefinitely. After testing 25 different seeds, I finally found this one (shown in the video), in which the koopa's path didn't end early on. I decided to stop recording after 4 hours, because shortly after the 4 hour mark, the koopa once again falls into the pit with the 4 wooden posts and remains stuck in there for 6+ hours, which wasn't nearly as interesting as letting him have access to the entire course.

>illusionary wall ahead

When I first realized that every spherical object in mario 64 was just a flat image that always faced you it blew my mind

In this video I'll be explaining exactly what I do to collect watch for rolling rocks in 0.5 a presses, but first we need to clear something up because every time I post a half a press video I get the same comments over and over asking what it means, even though I always have a whole paragraph in the description explaining it which even starts with "if youre wondering what a half a press is, read this before commenting to ask" but maybe what you guys need isnt a paragraph maybe you guys need an example.

that's what perfect spheres are supposed to look like
