So at what point did you get sick of Ashina Castle?

Around new game ++
Never. I like the castle. The interior/dojo area is probably my favorite area in the whole game. Plus, enemy placements and the atmosphere change every time you return there.
What game?
bloodborne
This. I'm actually surprised it didn't bother me.
never, cope
that's called world design, go back to your dark souls 3 which is a long ass single path corridor
I'd rather have a very convoluted single castle that changes throught the game than several filler castles that all look the same forever.
___ __ ____ From ___ __
sea of thieves
I mostly don't like how they disable all of your idols, because I forgot exactly how I found some places the first time. Like getting to the old grave idol, you can't just go around the castle, you have to go inside and drop to the bottom.
The castle is great but the game resetting the idols TWICE was dumb. Once was enough.
>Soulsfags actually defend a mechanic that Zeldachads reviled
The fact that less of the game becomes available near the end is fucking unforgivable, this is the time when you usually do the most roaming around
You're still able to go back around to most of them.
It doesn't actually force you to miss anything that I can recall.
Maybe the seven spears miniboss around the moon-view tower if you somehow hadn't beaten him yet.
Castles are always the best thing in the Souls series.
Never. I fucking love this shit.
the castle is still my favorite area. I love the ninjas and samurais and nightjars all fighting eachother, and how there are 5 ninjas patrolling the roof on the way to the antechamber idol
the third time removes most of ashina outskirts/entry to castle and makes it unavailable.
>most of ashina outskirts/entry to castle and makes it unavailable.
You don't really have any good reason to explore those areas after you've gone through them once, and I think 'most' is an exaggeration.
Maybe a third of it is actually gone.
I thought fighting the spear monks and the elite blade monks was almost as hard as fighting the enemies from the first invasion. Too bad you didn't get to fight more of them. Those bomb-throwing monks were boring though, and the martial-arts ones were cool but too weak
>im OP and I’m a huge faggot zoomer and I’ve never heard of a story that centres around a specific setting
You don’t have to say it OP, we can tell. It’s obvious.
Why would I get sick of it? It's a great area.
>a third
THATS STILL TOO MUCH
I saw some user claiming that FROM isn't planning any DLC, I PRAY that isn't true
Smart and effective reuse of well-designed areas that remix and revise them is in fact, always a good thing, aside from allowing the game to have more meaningful content that isn't just padding is great, and make the world design feel more coherent and real, because the location changes as a consequence of the narrative.
Just because most of the time backtracking is done horribly, doesn't mean it is inherently horrible OP
>zoomer
I am 26 dumbass
also
Bloodborne>DS1>Sekiro>DS3>DES>DS2
There has only been 1 good Dark Souls game seriously
>Game worlds need to be reactive and respond to the story
>WHAT THE FUCK THEY REUSED AREAS
>I saw some user claiming that FROM isn't planning any DLC
FROM has made no announcements about DLC one way or the other.
With how well the game is selling, I would be very surprised if they don't make more content for it, but it might be up to activision.
>actually do get DLC
>it's a memory that takes place at Ashina Castle yet again
Bloodborne ≥ Demon's Souls = Dark Souls > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 2 > Dark Souls Remastered > Scholar of the First Sin
>sub 30
lol go back to school faggot zoomer
that was a statement from activision, not from. frankly if we do get DLC it'll probably take place in india or china or something.
the oldest zoomer year is 24 this year.
