You might also argue she's best girl in LoZ, AoL, LTTP and MC by process of elimination, and WW if you consider Tetra to be her. Oracles has Din (and Nayru), TP obviously has Midna, OoT has Ruto_, ALBW has Hilda. And while SS and BOTW are a bit debatable, Zelda is best girl in neither despite her being designed as waifubait in both games.

Zelda has always been trash. The more the games focus on her the more I hate playing the games. The forced girl power (Tetra) or garbage Otaku Bait Persona Waifu Mary Sue Hylia crap (Skyward Sword) or spoiled rotten brat who you cannot tell her to go to hell because Link is a lame ass mute beta loser (Breath of the Wild) the more I lose interest in this series.

That's mostly as a kid. Meanwhile Malon is probably the single most boring girl in the game. I'd actually take Zelda over her due to being a tomboy. Also Nabooru is a redhead too, on top of being brown.

Ironically the games from LoZ that tend to go on to be highly recommended don't have Zelda or her role is seriously greatly diminished. Like Majora's Mask where Link is essentially in a new world far away from Hylia, Din, Faroe, Naryu's influence. Link's Awakening is another one (damn Nintendo for making it look like Charlie Brown and Snoopy Dog).

So I wasn't the only one who thought this? Great. Seriously Link and Zelda look like they came out of the same mother. Rarely do they look particularly distinct. The Link/Zelda pairing bothers me because visually it almost looks like incest even if they're not blood related. When I look at Link and Zelda I get the same vibe as Aladdin and Jasmine from Disney's animated film. Genetically they look quite similar so it feels almost like their siblings who are hooking up.
