He's kinda impulsive on social media and in interviews. But he is really passionate about the game. We have weekly staff meetings to gauge feelings on our progress and boost morale, and he really leads the charge on making fun of himself if he said something kinda dumb. So at least he's aware of some of the over-the-top things he does.

Krieg and Maya relationship becomes canon (nah just fucking with you, but someone tossed that out as a joke during an early meeting). Clap is still Clap. Nothing new. But I think that's a good thing.

Ok RPfag, what will make BL3 different from Destiny 2, The Division 2 and Anthem. Borderlands spearheaded the shooter looters, but what it will do to move away from the samey formula, the obvious formula made to be grind in order to force the playerbase waste money on "live service" ?

Borderlands in general is already better than all three of those games. Other loot shooters literally never understand how and why Borderlands works better than them, and the answer is more guns.

It's actually fun. Sounds simple, but that really is the case. BL2 came out years ago, but it's still better than everything you just mentioned. All the current looter shooters fall into the same trap that MMOs do: they rush the main game and focus solely on the end content. Destiny 2 and Anthem released without end game content, and the main game was just boring to slog through. One of my favorite things about the other BLs is just that the world was so engaging that I had fun with them and didn't need to rush to endgame. Also, games as a service is awful. Sure, we want to monetize in a fashion where we can make money, but we want to make a good game first and foremost. We're planning on monetizing through genuinely good DLCs, unlike those games that offer another dungeon and a piss-easy raid boss for $20. Division and Destiny don't even have any writing.
