Hi, I'm superior to the N64 version.

Nice d-pad, dork.

Super Mario 64 DS 3D never ever

>shit graphics
>shit sound
>control stick wasn't possible until 3ds in 2011

LOOK AT THIS DUDE

There was 8 years between SM64 and 64DS.
It's been 15 years since 64DS.

Dumb zoomer

Wrong

please stop, I don't need this today

>dpad
>wario is useless and luigi breaks the game

Imagine if it were made for 3ds instead

lowkey the weird pixelated polygon graphics on old DS games are kinda cool

That D-pad though really is shit though

You are the superior version. Easier to play you out of the house to avoid getting beaten by my dad.

Even with the 3DS circle pad you only get 8 direction digital input.

The goomboss level was cool but none of the other additions were good
At least they reused a lot of the assets to make an actual good game (NSMB)

I agree. I made the game look great in the emulator and it was a vastly superior experience compared to the original.

Apart from the digital inputs, the game is entirely improved.

But the analog input were the whole point of the game so it's overall worse.

>He couldn't adapt

Git gud.

No 360 degree movement is fucking awful.

Only a retard would play a 3D game with the d-pad

Touch controls worked great. Played through the game at least 3 times.

>he doesn't use the touchscreen controls

Touch controls would have been fine if it locked the "stick" where you originally touched but it slides all over the place and you have no precise control at all.

No.

It's not a matter about being able to adapt it's about 1 control scheme being objectively better than the other

I never played the n64 version but got this as my first DS game and I enjoyed it a lot

>start up DS launch title of a port of a game with 3D analog controls
>given choice between 2 touch control options and 1 dpad control option
>choose dpad
>bitch about your poor choice on the internet for years

I don't want to walk around with a fucking touch screen
A touch screen should only be for selecting things in a game

Oh yeah dude I love playing Mario with a fucking pen
I used both

>pen
You're supposed to use the thumbstrap that came with the system.

I didn't own an original ds

Never got used to this. Always slipped off after a minute.
The thumbstrap control scheme with the stylus was perfect.

Ok. I hope you enjoyed trying to force a square block into a round hole, then.

I’m honestly just sad they changed the igloo sub-area.

why didn't ds have a circle pad with dpad below it bros
would've been a golden age of gaems

wait what
that plastic thing was meant to be used in place of the pen?
