I've been waiting for Horizon 3 to go on sale on Windows for what feels like years.

I'm not 100% sure my PC is up to it. It probably is, but it's Windows 10 only isn't it? I'm assuming they all are, but I'd happily even give 5 or 6 a go if not 8 or whatever it's on now.

Screens of Horizon look fantastic, but I despise open world games.

i will always jump into a thread about driving games to say that driving even the shittiest geo metro stick shift and keeping it well maintained is more fun than playing any shitty fucking driving game will ever be. it's not driving without the FEEL of driving, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are a skilled driver with the kind of lifestyle that can keep an automobile will maintained.

Isn't compatible with 90% of the tools I use for work, bad performance with high end GPU applications, bad security (I do contract work for the government and they literally forbid the use of Windows 10 due to security concerns), forced updates, trialed it on a spare games machine for a few months and had the entire install corrupt due to fucky updates on three separate occasions and I also found it really didn't like a lot of the older games I regularly play.

maybe don't turn your pc off in the middle of when it is updating lol

It turned out that merely having a logitech device plugged in via usb was enough to corrupt the update process and force you to reinstall the entire OS.

Oh yeah and there was the October update in 2018 that just straight up deleted your files.

But I'm playing the REAL Forza. Forza Motorsport 7, not your zoomer bullshit with ridiculously bad car sounds and recycled FM4 and convertible paid DLC cars, etc...
